So far i think they've been Rotax engines which is Austrian company. Could be wrong that is simply my understanding

@@getty6974 They used to be a Rotax engine. Now they are made in a BMW plant in China. I have a 2016 F800GS and the engine is a Rotax and the bike was built in Germany. I won't buy BMW's new China made bikes.

Hey mate what about the R1250GS Adventure? Is that a German built motor or is it also Chinese? I want a BMW that is all German quality motor wise and built in Germany. TIA🙏
