Just a few position player All Stars who have a lower WAR than Christian Walker: Rutschman, Bohm, Contreras, Altuve, Ozuna, Alvarez, Kim, Tatis Jr., Turner, Abrams, McMahon...oh, and he has 2 consecutive Gold Gloves.

It's unfortunate that Walker isn't an All-Star this year, but there is no path for him. Each position only has two All-Stars per league, and in the NL, Harper and Freeman are the obvious picks, with both player with a WAR of 3.7, compared to Walker's WAR of 2.8.

His name is Randy Cesar. He never played in the Major Leagues, signed as a UDFA in 2011 at only 16 years old. However, he did set a Texas League Record that still stands to this day during what ended up being a 42-game hit streak with AA-Corpus Christi.

@@Sabas916 I'm not sure, although it certainly looks like it. He usually played 3rd base, but it's not uncommon for infielders to play anywhere inside the diamond from time to time.
