Bravo from 344 Victoria in Canada! I'm a Petty Officer 2nd Class (Equivalent to your Flight Sergeant) in RCSCC (Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps) Victoria, from Calgary, Alberta. Great respect from across the pond, your ancestors would have been proud to see such respect and well played music.

Hi, I'm in the ANC, I wish we had a band like this! I've been thinking about changing services but i'm not sure, it all depends on how I go this year, just an inquiry, if I did change over, say I was a CDT Leading Seamen (equivalent to a CDT Corporal) would my rank carry over in some way? Don't get me wrong, I love being in the ANC, its just in case I get bored.

Alright I had a mate in the Army Cadets and he was a lance Corporal (like a Leading Cadet) he was given that rank. Sometimes he get changed around a little, in general you will get the equivalent or your rank. Sometimes you may be demoted, it’s all situational.

@@RUSS-Wolfwrestlr , Ah right, thanks for that one mate.

@@AusPatriot You will become a cadet corporal as long as your performance is within the standards of the squadron your joining. otherwise they will most likely give you external JNCO training alongside your induction training (learning ranks and stuff about the RAAF). I presume your already strict on your cadets and understand basic leadership qualities?

Hi, the best thing I can suggest is approach your local Squadron and have a chat with them. The different cadet services have very different training programs, however there may be some skills that qualify for RPL. This would be best discussed with the Squadron Commanding Officer, who will then work with the Wing Staff Officer Training.
