is there anything i need to know about how the listening/recording devices work? or will i be fully instructed on how to use them during the exam? i didnt take the ap class so im curious !

Listening pieces are just played to the entire testing group. For the speaking there is a certain software that is used. I assume they will give you a computer with the software on it. The instructions for the speaking part and listening portion of the simulated conversation are played to the group, but you will be instructed on when to pause and unpause the recording function on the computer.
