Why Audi decided not to make this the final farewell model of the R8 instead of that RWD GT, I don't know. This GT2 would have been a proper send off vs that AudiSport parts bin special they call the GT. As an R8 owner and fan, I feel like we got cheated with the way Audi closed out the iconic R8 line.
