2024 Audi RS3 Armaspeed Carbon Intake Installation | Even More Turbo Sounds!

👋 Time for the a full carbon fiber air intake on the 2024 Audi RS3! Today I install the Armaspeed cold air intake for the 8Y Audi RS3! This new air intake adds so much sound to the turbo and really wakes up the car! I love how I can now hear the turbo induction noises and the blow off sound is awesome! The Armaspeed intake for 8Y Audi RS3 actually fits the 8V RS3 as well! So any RS3 or TTRS, this intake fits your car! One thing I noticed with the installation, Audi might have changed the recirculation pipe for 2024. If you have the plastic corrugated pipe, you will need to get the adapter kit linked below. Then this will fit perfect. Overall I like the look of the new Armaspeed cold air intake for our 2024 Audi RS3.The carbon fiber really pops! Fit it very good but it is a tight installation, so take your time. Intake air temps also remain identical to stock with he new kit which is nice to see.

I love the Lexus is350, I had one. It was replaced by a 2018 TTRS. The bmw 340 should be better in that class. Planning on buying a new Lexus is350 for our vacation home in Jamaica at some point 🇯🇲.

What did you do with the vent filter you took off the original intake. Did you just leave it hanging?

Very subtle. You can hear it under full boost when you let off super quietly. Intake makes you hear it well

Might be a silly question but does this mess with the warranty in any way?

Would depend on the dealer. Technically they would have to prove the intake caused whatever issue popped up with your car. Worst case just put the stock intake back on if any problem with your cars pops up. But there aren't any sensors in the intake, so the car doesn't even know you've changed anything

What’s the difference between this one, AWE, and MST intake? The MST is the least expensive and I don’t care about the Carbon fiber appearance so all that matters to me is performance. Is the performance and sound the same between them all?

You'll like the MST then. It makes the most sound too. Great way to go if you don't want to spend a ton. I do have a comparison video coming with all three intakes!

Between this intake and the other intake video you made. Which intake do you like the most?

It's a toss up. The MST kit is a bit louder and more affordable. Armaspeed keeps intake temps a tad lower under high rpm. But it costs more and is just a tad quieter. So really depends on your budget and desires. We have both on our website!

Yeah MST is a bit louder since it has the open box. Defiantly can't go wrong with either! I do plan to film a comparison with both kits at some point

I put a pause on that for right now since a few 2023 owners said it didn't fit. It was like 1mm too big. So I'm not sure yet. But some people bought the ECS tuning one and that seems to work. I actually have one of them brand new I'll be selling personally. Can always message me on Instagram if you want to buy it

@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you for your feedback. One last question if I may, since your engine is now compressing more volume of air thanks to the new air intake, does it overheat a bit or it still gives the normal temperature readings?

It's not compressing more air. The turbo hasn't changed nor has the tuning. The intake with no tuning doesn't really add power. It's mainly sound. It just lets the turbo spin a tad easier with less restrictions. It will still only compress the programmed amount of boost. Intake air temp remain similar to stock. What is the diverter valve for?

It takes the pressurized turbo air when you let off the throttle and recirculates it into the intake pipe to keep the turbo spooling. Like a blow off valve. It just recirculates in this car.
