My feelings are prices will continue dropping for another 8-9 months in Melbourne at least, -20%. We are almost half way to that already. But I also feel the recovery will be slow, depending on wages & economy, so buyers will return around end of 2025. A lot of vendors under water next year.

Thanks for your thoughts- there's a few variables leading into 2024: rate cuts? Rental's are also slowing, along with tighter rental laws limiting rent increases will challenge yields. Melb is a very interesting market - one to watch.
