I love the humility here shown by PK and Thien (sorry if i have mis spelt your name Mr Nguyen). I love not only seeing and learning from PK's videos, but also learning from errors. In a world of social media, filled with flexing and success, its not quite as popular to explore and reveal errors we make. In all things i do, whether its chess, tennis, property investing, engineering, event management or even growing and sustaining of personal relationships,; It is so so so important to reflect and learn from our errors. I love the authenticity and jovial nature of both gentlemen. I have done PK's course, I dont work for him, but i am a very strong supporter of all avid property investors to do his course, no matter if its for your own private investing or working in the professiona as a buyers agent. It really is a wealth of knowledge and having a background in engineering, i do agree that data and the numbers do not lie. Really, every one.... its pretty obvious, how important to learn what you werent aware of and also have the team to support you along the way through the weekly calls and community. Dont be a dumby, do the PK course!

Omg.. Thank you for sharing. I'm in a very similar situation in Canada with negatively geared properties and have them up currently selling for a loss. I've done 7 real estate transactions only to learn lessons like you the hard way. I was depressed as I thought I did everything right but never got to reap the fruits. But watching you share your journey with a smile and that lovely comforting laugh is so good. You've inspired me to get back on the horse and get back to real estate investing. If you have expertise in shares and portfolio construction, you should also diversify some of your cash there as well. As you have found out, leverage in property cuts both ways. It can be really good or really bad, so only proceed to add to your property portfolio only if you are certain you can hold it for the long term. You must have sufficient liquidity to be able to hang on through the tough times so that you can offload in the good times - otherwise its going to be a disaster, especially if you are heavily leveraged at 95% LVR. Anyhow thanks for sharing your experience and good luck for the future.

Hey PK, been getting into your videos lately - great content! Thank you. My partner and I have 3 properties together.. One is a 2-1-1 townhouse valued at 550k with 275k owing, one is a 2-1-1 townhouse valued at 450k with 300k owning, one is a 3-1-2 house valued at 800k with 470k owing. Looking for some direction on what to do next? Would like to buy as much as possible in the next 10 years, but don’t really know where to start… Not skilled investors, just kind of bought a couple of things as we went. Not too worried about being in debt for a long time, just want to set our kids up for an easier life later on. We’re mid 30’s-early 40’s. One of us on a 100k salary in marketing, the other on give or take 200k as a self-employed tradie. No personal or car loans, no credit cards, no school fees. Any advice would be much appreciated.
