I have not had heart issues Paul but I am 65 and my body has warn out because of very hard work , long hours and a bad life style years ago has caught up to me as well. I have cleaned myself up about 5 years ago and feel better. But my hips are worn out and probably need replacement. I have had both shoulders replaced and most recently my left knee was replaced. But I am positive and eat only healthy foods and don't drink any more. It has changed my life for the better. I look at life differently. Every moment counts and we need to make the best of everyday and moment. Be kind and love our family and friends. I keep riding my ride and love it more and more. My prayers for you and your health Paul. Ride on Paul.

Good to see you're still OK Birchy. For me 2024 has seen me do the most miles on a bike for at least 4 decades, and I've loved every one of them. Indeed just today I did a sprint to Stratford-Upon-Avon on my Honda Fury to give it a nice run-out. Keeping my fingers crossed your health stays good during 2025.

@@birchwoodbiker If it's any use (probably not) I too have had to take stock and address my eating habits. I began my new regime 12 months ago, telling myself "chocolate and biscuits no longer exist". Same with alcohol. It's worked for me.

Get the stick on version of the pinlock they work really well. Back in the day before pinlocks were common I used to use some from fog city. On the sun just get a dark visor and carry the clear one for when you need it. It’s a stupid law for them not to be road legal

Hope your health results are ok. Usually you dont lose license over Angina. Hubby had it and he is able to ride/drive. Think I saw you this morning, gave you a nod, weather was fabulous but felt your pain with the sun. Shoei Neotec 2 has drop down sun visor and pinloc. some deals about as now discontinued. Added Puig deflector on top of my nc screen pricey but works wonders.

Cheers laurence, just don't like pinlock they all give a slight change looking through them, my spada and i90 are pinlock ready, I'm just old school or dumb 🤣have a fantastic New Year👍👍👍

I wear glasses and had a second pair made with darker lenses but my helmet does have a drop down visor.

Hi mate just to let you know alginate doesn't lose your licence it's only fatal heart disease and a low percentage of hesrt function or the need to have defibrillator fitted I know I've been through it mate. Fingers crossed hope your OK All the Best. Albert

I use a Shark helmet, flip front with built in sun visor and pinlock, zero problems

Iv lost limbs. Drink most nights work 60 to 72 hours a week. For the last 30 years. But not drove a car for the last 25 years. My mrs would disown me now if I didn’t do what i do. She says its like living with a gold fish . Never know when im going to die. But she knows i do what i love. That’s riding every day

The stickon "pinlocks" are awful. I have an oxford one and its permanently blurry. It works and will keep the fog out but the one I got was like a letter box and much smaller than the visor.

With the amount of riding you do, i think u should just invest in a good quality helmet like the shoei neotec 3 or schubert c5..

Sounds like the helmet is a bad buy. Ditch it and buy one with the sun visor and installed pinlock.

I still have my spada and i90, actually love the helmet it fits brilliant, I bought pair sunglassses that J&S extracted £50 from my slush fund, they improved the days ride, have a Fantastic New Year thanks for watching and commenting really appreciate👍👍👍

I told you, That helmet is crap it doesn't even have a sun visor that's basic these days. Get a new helmet. Sorry to hear you where back in hospital. I've been getting the same thing pins needles I just changed my bike coz that's what I put it down too Haha. Great news the audio is still in stereo so that's good. Stay Safe
