I have a 2023 Chrome as well. I love it - a supersonic armchair! Yes, the horn is silly, so I fitted a Sound Bomb which is a straight swap and a big improvement. I got heated grips, a rad protector, and power socket fitted by the dealer for free (I bought mine new). I did fit those mirrors you have but have gone back to standard mirrors as they work well and look better IMO. Yes, the pipes are awesome. I don't know how they got it through Euro 4 but I'm glad they did. I don't ride motorways these days so have not fitted a screen, I have fitted SW Motech soft panniers and as I don't carry a pillion I have removed the pillion seat and fitted the Triumph 'finisher' instead. I like the 'Vincentesque' single clock, but I agree a stainless ring round the dial would be good. I also fitted a front fender extender to keep some of the muck off the rad and engine. Vince

@gzk6nk Vince, thanks for watching and sharing what you've done to yours. I would have gone with heated grips but I couldn't find them in brown, which is my color, for the moment at least. Ride well! Mick

I'm almost 76 from Minnesota and I just found your channel and this video. I bought my first motorcycle when I was 15 and my first Triumph in 1969 when I was stationed at Ft Bragg, NC. That bike was followed up by a couple of more Triumphs when I got out of the service. Then came the Harleys but I still have some Triumph blood running through my veins. I sold my last Harley 2 years ago due to a sudden injury that I didn't think I would recover from but I did recover and actually I'm better than ever now. Now I've discovered this Speedmaster and it looks like a perfect bike for me! Low center of gravity? Now that's a refreshing thought isn't it. And the fact that it's t least 250-300 lbs lighter than the Harleys doesn't hurt either. i am now seriously thinking about picking one of these bikes up. Thanks for the video

@daviddejong187 Thanks for sharing your story, it's always nice to see the human side of KZbin! I can't say enough good things about the Speedmaster and as much as I like our Ultra Limited, the Triumph takes first place in daily bike riding! Thanks for watching, take care! 🍻 Mick.

For my ‘24 Speedmaster, I wash with the engine casings with MUC OFF bike cleaner, rinse off, then spray with GT85 or ACF50 and leave it for an hour or so, them wipe off and leave. Have done 2,200 miles so far and no spotting on the alloy cases.

I have a 2022 Speedmaster that I added a Motodemic adaptive headlight to, huge difference over the stock headlight. I also now have a small touring batwing fairing along with Viking saddlebags . I also have 23 thousand miles on it with no problems!

Hey Guvna, I have a Harley and a few old Enfields. I got a chance to test ride bike and obviously enjoyed the smoothness and relaxed feeling. Definitely getting ready to pull the trigger on one. I agreed the two tone paint makes for a better look.

@@waffleridersmoto4191 I am sure you wouldn't be disappointed. The issues I mentioned are all fairly minor, it really is a cracking motorbike! Cheers and thanks for watching. 🍻

I bought a leftover ‘22 Speedmaster about a year and a half ago. Most of my complaints are the same as yours. The cases show water marks, apply elbow grease and polish as necessary. The fuel gauge is pessimistic. It shows empty but I can only get a shade over two and a half gallons into the tank and frankly I’m fine with that. I’m not a fan of pushing my bike down a highway looking for the next gas station. Here in NC, the metal trim inside the speedo reflects sunlight right into my eyes if I look down. I had thought that the twin clocks of the Bonneville would have been a better choice but I’ve grown to accept the single clock. Like yours, the headlight on mine was good for illuminating the trees when it left the dealership and it is fiddly to adjust. My biggest complaint is the dealership isn’t close by and it’s primarily an Indian dealer with Triumph as a sideline.

@@gwynnromano5881 Thanks for your comments. If Triumph would produce a trim ring similar to the clocks on the T120 I'd be a happy boy!! Cheers and thanks for watching. 🍻

Do you find the tank capacity too small?
@Guvnarides-WI2020Ай бұрын
@johnnypoprock1 It could have done with being a bit bigger for a, so called, cruiser in my opinion. The T120 has a 3.8 gallon tank and it should at least be equal. A long trip requires fairly frequent fuel stops, usually around 130 to 140 mile mark. Not horrendous but again, for a "cruiser"! 🍻
@johnnypoprock1Ай бұрын
@@Guvnarides-WI2020 I've always wanted a Speedmaster but the tank is all that is holding me back. I love the way they handle and feel, but it's too little for long rights and too much for around town, So I've stuck with my Bonne 120.. Thank you for your videos.
