CNG combustion produces approximately 26.7% less CO2 emissions than petrol, contributing to mitigating climate change. Additionally, CNG vehicles emit 85% lower NMHC’s (non-methane hydrocarbons) and 43% less NOx (nitrogen oxide).
The challenge posed in creating a CNG motorcycle is the packaging, given the compact nature of motorcycles compared to cars. The Bajaj Freedom CNG Motorcycle has an integrated CNG tank and kit housed securely in a trellis frame, with proven safety through rigorous testing. A horizontally inclined engine and a Link-Mono shock system optimize space and provide a stable ride. The design features a riendly saddle height of 825mm and a narrow mid-section for easy ground contact. Despite the CNG tank, smart weight-saving measures maintain a similar center of gravity to petrol motorcycles, ensuring neutral handling and rider confidence. The mono-linked type suspension offers better wheel travel and comfort, making the motorcycle suitable for various riding conditions.

Design ok ok, not bad, not so attractive. Concept is very innovative, love it. good daring job Bajaj. Hieight, weight will be minus to get large number of sales. They must be decreased. see splender 3.5 lakh sales per month. Wheels should be 17", or 18". Petrol tank capacity should be increased at least 2 lt more. Or this bike will be useful only for local commuting not for long tour.

Though I like the looks, it's most oxymoron bike I have ever seen in my life. A commuter centric motorcycle tries to look like a dirt bike... It has dual purpose tyre but has only 17 & 16 inch wheels that too alloys... And above all a trellis frame like a sports bike... 🤦🏽‍♂️ Seat height is a tall 825mm for a commuter, yet the GC is just 170mm. So it's not a Dirt bike either. And after all this it weighs a massive 147 kgs. With that massive weight, the bike has to pull with segment least power and torque and they are putting Ibex logo on the side panel! What confidence, Bajaj 👏🏻👏🏼👏🏾 Now the claimed tank range is only 330 km, whereas all other bikes in the segment offer 600-700km. Not to forget the availability of CNG at town or village, and even if it is there, the queue is super long. Also the vehicle is expensive than the competition by ₹15000, that is equal to 8000-9000km of riding on a 125cc bike. Not a big deal though. But I am very much worried about the future of the vehicle. Btw, anyone remembers the Freedom 251 mobile scam???
