2024 Barber Vintage Motorcycle Festival expected record breaking of 85k spectators

The 19th anniversary of the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Festival in 2024 is shaping up to be a record-breaking event, with an astonishing 85,000 spectators expected to attend! It's the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable adventure.
For the second year in a row, Kelly, and her husband Rod are revving up to be part of the excitement with me, but this time i’m bringing along friends Tomasz and Jason for their inaugural experience. With six riders, we are all set for an exhilarating three-hour ride, feeling the wind rush past as you make your way to the festival.
But this year, there's a twist. Instead of just a day trip, we have decided to spend the night to fully immerse ourselves in all the festival has to offer. From vintage motorcycle showcases to thrilling races, and of course, the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts, you're in for an action-packed, memory-filled adventure.

I was there all three days, go every year. A bunch of us park and hang out between swap meet trips, demo rides, pit visits and watching racing on Norton Hill. Superb event.

Hey Sowatha, That was little ole me and Tyler! Me and 7 others rode from the Gulf in MS and spent 3 days there. If you go you MUST see the museum. The worlds best motorcycle museum. Looks like a fun event. Thanks for sharing. I stopped by Barbers Museum for the first time last October when I came back from riding in NC; amazing place. Ironically Barbers Marina which part of the same group a few minutes from my house.

@ Hi 👋 It really is an amazing museum. Haha almost overwhelming. And the staff is so helpful and friendly. Since I'm new to this area I'm learning all of the very cool events around. This one at Barbers looks like something I really have to try to get to this year. Oh, and the Bass Bro Shop there across from BuCees is fun too. 15:40 To answer your question Sowatha I have no idea what that dude was thinking. After making that wide turn he went straight from a right turn only lane at the next intersection. I could tell what kind of rider he was early in the video when he pulled into the parking lot and started duckwalking his bike. He needs to attend your rider training school! 😉 But all that aside, it looks like you had a day in motorcycle heaven! I'd love to visit the museum there someday.

I do love the RE John. I got the '24 in Apex Grey (my fave colorway) as you see. If you're ever wanna take it for a spin and you're in GA come say hi you can ride it. :) They are truly underrated - SUPER smooth. I threw a 150 out back and a 110 up front, and the TEC 2-1 exhaust and lowered the rear 1 inch. It's amazing to ride with these mods.

@musicmaestro88 I bought a 22 Himalayan in 23 new from my dealership. I put 5000 miles on it and a 23 leftover Triump Tiger 1200 Gt Explorer went onsale for $16999. I found @Sowatha13 channel and knew that this was the bike for me. I saved about $13,000 not buying the GS1250 BMW i test rode. My late in-laws lived in Smyrna. I know the area we'll. I did training in Marietta at the Ford training center near the Tesla dealer. Looked like a lot of fun

@Sowatha13 i will definitely be riding to some events. I got my Triumph Trekker luggage in. It was easy to install. Literally 10 minutes. I think i posted a photo on my Instagram account. So much more room than my Tusk soft bags. The top box (46 liter) is awesome. The bike came with the lock set . I went with the Triump branded riding Cranbourne and tri sport tech jackets and Coneck pants. Alpinestar Tech 7 boots for dry days and Sedici Rain Boots. Shoei RF1400 with the Cardo helmet. Going to Austin Texas in February. My daughter is running the marathon. Then key west . Then back to find a job lol.

Barber was a great show!! The only disppointment to me was not attending for multiple days. I hope to remedy that this year. Sowatha you did great leading out - even though you start your video at 7:30 and 7:30 was then you were supposed to be at the church meeting me -hahahahaha. But I needed the nap anyway!! 39:40 Can’t really tell you are standing ;). You need to install „I’m standing sign” on your bike so it’s easier to tell, like „seatbelt sign” on airplanes ;)
