"I built this base brick by brick". It really meant a lot to us as players. It took years to build, and we enjoy every bit of it. The layout, the decorations. Just like you said, 'I like to play the game; I enjoy a lot of what this game offers.' Me too. As for me, I split my base into rooms ( the sound of the doors opening is a bit annoying but bearable) a big room for storage, a medium room for the workbench, and some other rooms for random decorations. It makes me feel great whenever I log into the game with everything organized. It kinda feels like home

I've only recerently found out about your channel, watched a bunch of videos since then, every video is so in-depth it's actually insane. I've been playing since 2017 too, on and off (probably more off than on lol) and I do consider myself a late game player as I've done most of the things in game. What I am lacking is repetitive grinding for upgrading all the walls and racks but I do a bit of grinding here and there and am slowly working towards that. I am also very much lacking with my settlement because I haven't really played much since it was released, only got into it about 2 months ago. What fascinates me is that even with this many hours spent on the game, I still learn a couple of new details about the game in each of your videos. Keep up the good work, you've became my favorite LDOE youtuber really quickly lol. I also love the positivity you spread and how you always find the good side of the game despite the amount of greediness from the devs. Wish you a happy christmas and a happy new year!

Hey Doc Excellent base video!! Very informative as usual! I agree storage is HUGE esp like the store room, sewing rack I took your advice & picked up the store room great investment!!. Just got the sewing rack in the event. Working toward the division box Just low on funds with holiday. But I'll get it lol. Your correct every player base, gameplay etc is specific to what that person is wanting etc. I gotta tell ya you give lot of Great info to all of us & I appreciate it! Definitely helps out. I started playing LDoE early this year and decided to minimize my purchases in the game. I was tempted and spent a few times for small inconveniences which was great and all but now I decided to be a F2P to reap what I got purely from grinding which is still enjoyable for me at the moment. Thank you for clarifying the difference between both of your account and I like the functionality of your base. I'm currently active with raid and even though I don't have level 4 walls yet, level 3 walls with a bit of bait chests outside helped a lot and I do use my dog crate, garage and other special storages to temporarily shield my walls outside. I also have a small core part of the base with another level 3 walls that protects my hard to find items. Hopefully I can start redesigning my base soon once I got my ATV. I'm targeting next month just a few cc and cyclinders short ☺️ Planning to maximize my space as well and add some lounge and entertainment area that will make it look more cozy

The dog crate dosnt protect your walls be careful with that. You may of noticed you can walk between it and your base so the raiders will do that if that is the weak point getting in

@BunningsSnagz Thanks for the heads up. Yeah it's actually inside my wall just beside it so instead of the raiders getting the main loot they'll have to go there first. Same with recycler and other storages it serves as the first thing they see before the actual loot. I'm also utilizing the free posters I got while playing they don't destroy that wall or maybe they cannot while it's on the wall. My bait chest is probably enough for them since I have 3 outside I just repurpose my red durability modded weapons and extra armors + modded spear and they seemed to like it that much that they haven't destroyed my walls for weeks now even with average of 3-4 skulls daily Edit: sorry I read my first comment I can see why you may be confused 😅 but yeah it's a combination of special storages, drone docking station (?) garage, etc both inside and outside my base surrounding the walls. Its not the best setup aesthetically speaking but it helps with extra protection for now

I reached lvl 40 in the Winter Of Despair Event. Im glad they made this event for free2play unlike the previous Samhain Event where i wasnt able to get that skin. Not only are we getting a skin from this event but we also getting a Sewing Rack. This event is much better than the Samhain. I hope they will make events like this from now on.

Wow extremely awesome and dedicated. I do enjoy the nice open concept I have personally went for more of a future, proofing of where I hope, one day there will be online raiding so my base has lost its openness but as a tip you can put stuff into the truck on your p2w account instead of having a rack outside as long as you have a 1x1 twig room and something in the truck I always get revenge raids with doing that and it saves a rack for more storage ❤❤❤ Keep up the good work

I would like having a smaller base with bunch of rooms , ( storages , workbenchs, heals....) By the way I hope in the future we will be able to fix the broken car in the base
