Thank you for going down the list and mentioning all parts of the bike and whether you liked them or not and making comparisons! Many reviews don’t have that! I’ve never owed or even spent time on a European dirtbike but I’ve owed all the Japanese bike brands. I just sold my YZ250X and am trying to decide between Beta, Sherco and KTM.

You have a very hard choice because they're all awesome bikes that will do it. I was agonizing for days between a GasGas (KTM) and a Sherco last spring before making a decision... Beta wasn't included in that one simply because nobody had one in stock for a good price. I went with the GasGas mostly because of convenience, but I would have been equally happy on a Sherco, and my next bike is likely to be a Beta.

Suspensión can be adjusted you can’t rate a suspension without adjusting it to your weight and riding style.
@DmitriyAdvАй бұрын
That's true of almost everything on the bike. Unfortunately at the demos I can only give the impression of what I'm given. In the case of this specific bike, it felt like something was off (not right) with the suspension. The Sachs Betas I've ridden previously felt way better. My weight is right about average, so stock suspension settings usually work well for me, I'm not sure if someone already messed with the clickers on the one I rode. Thanks for watching!

Maybe the forks were not broken in or just needed some clicker adjustment?

I'm not sure, it's always hard to tell with demo bikes. Sometimes whoever is doing the demo does everything they can to make them feel awesome, other times they don't, or aren't able to.

Looking forward to my beta demo day. Currently undecided between 200 and 250 rr/re models. Thanks for the review. Very helpful. 👍

I liked the 250 a lot more personally, but you should definitely ride them both if you can. They’re very different feeling bikes, so it should help you decide

which bike did you go with and why? I'm currently trying to make the same decision
@retrograde11Ай бұрын
@@remedialone6987 I went with 200 race ed. And the bike has exceeded my expectations. Since this was my very first bike, I wanted a platform that I won't outgrow in a year or two, and also a bike that won't exhaust me due to its power and weight. I felt that a 200, which is built on a smaller frame will allow me to progress my skills better and make me a better rider quicker. When I rode 250/300 at a demo day, I felt them to be a bit too overwhelming due to its size and power and my lack of skills. And don't get me wrong, 200 is an absolute weapon. At some point in the future I might upgrade to 250/300, but right now I'm enjoyingy the 200 a lot and would make the same choice again. Highly recommend if this is your first real bike. Happy riding!

@retrograde11 I used to ride an rm250 when I was a kid, but that was 16 years ago. I'm looking to get back into riding next spring and was thinking of going with the 200. I'm going to try and sign up for a demo day so i can try them all out, but I am strongly considering the 200 RE.

Is that the Family Trail?
@DmitriyAdv9 ай бұрын
I think it was at least partially the family trail. A pretty easy loop, only made a bit more challenging by the fact that it rained a ton the night before and turned it into a sloppy mess. A few people not used to Brushy death clay struggled getting up some of the climbs. That said, it's Brushy, so there were slightly more challenging offshoots available for those more ambitious :)

Thanks for the lugability comments
@DmitriyAdv4 ай бұрын
Sure thing! Both the Beta and Sherco 250's lug really well. Similar to a TPI 300.
