Dude, you ride like a champ, love it, and awesome for me to see how the right amount of throttle (sometimes just a little) can get you past some nasty sections. Makes me want to try a second loop on a Hare and Hound again here in CA. Well done my friend.

Thanks! Yea slip the clutch a bit and keep the tire from breaking traction. Works pretty good!

Sweet video, feels like the camera doesn't do this climb justice!

It doesn’t. Those hills are steep!

Hey man! That trial was fun! I was the guy talking with you before the line of people going up to the rocky section

It was a butt kicker! Did you finish?

WOW!.... I don't think I would enjoy that very much..lol, The heat does not make it any better, we were up there the weekend before and it was warm then. Thanks for posting

Your "wonder why I do this..." face is exceptionally accurate. 1000 mile gaze to who knows where.

Ha! It’s that “I’m only half way through this trail” look!

That looked tough with no shade. I'll stick to the high country of Colorado in the hot months. Good job getting up that in that heat!

Crazy how much easier it is the other way IMO

I have never rode this the other way but I’m sure it is a bit easier. Although going down this stuff is no picnic.

I always wonder if riders actually stick to the gps tracks or get "close enough"... i passed a bunch of people on gold mountain and john bull then didnt see anyone out in the desert foreverrr

I’m sure they do so they don’t miss a checkpoint.

I’ve been riding that trail for 35 years, but after turning 60 a couple years ago it’s not all that fun anymore. Rode it a month ago, for the last time, I think I’d rather punch myself in the nuts than ride it again. You youngins can have it.

Yea, I don’t like it. Hot and miserable. 😂

Subscribed! That looks fun! Where can i find this trail? Id love to ride it
@hannonenduro7 ай бұрын
You can find it on a Big Bear trail map. I was there but not sure how I got there!

What time did you start this section? Trying to figure out what time we need to make it to the gas stop to have a chance of finishing
@hannonenduro7 ай бұрын
I think around noon. If I didn’t have overheating issues I still could have finished. In my opinion this is the worst trail of the ride. I was making good time until here.
@slowredd62587 ай бұрын
@@hannonenduro for me the worst trail of the day was by far, Pontiac Hill. Mile 160ish, hot and a steep boulder filled hill that seemed to go on forever. It did look like you were riding really well. Tough luck to have bike issues. Better luck next year! Nice vids that capture the spirit of the ride!

@@slowredd6258 I was curious about Pontiac Hill. Maybe next year!
