2024 Birthday Caching Part 2!

On my birthday, I like to do two things:
1) Don't go to work
2) Go GEOCACHING!
On my birthday, I accomplished both of these! :P I was lucky to team up with The Kid, Emmilliam and my good ol' caching buddy StJohnOB. It's been a while since StJohnOB and I cached together. It was a fun filled day caching out on Camano Island!

Happy birthday. Even with all the rain we have had here this week it will never been wet and lush like that. Our area is always so dry.

Funny thing is that when we were driving out to this location, it was a downpour! But when we got to the park, it was just cloudy! We returned there over this last weekend to try and get the caches we missed and it was the same thing. Downpour on the way to the park, but when we got there... it was just cloudy. My friend explained that it's a "Rain Shadow" location.

I sing sea shanties when I'm walking uphill to a cache. Its not a Bigfoot call, but it's weird enough!

I whistle sometimes when I’m on my own. Mainly so I’m not surprising any wildlife. Seems legit, right? As for the kids, well, they make weird noises all the time!

Kids will be kids! I like to make noise when I am out on my own just to let nature know I am there.
