That forest is beautiful! We have never found a cache that made us consider quitting geocaching, but some have made us decide to be a little more selective...

I know, right?! People found those caches that we skipped after we were there. I know they are there, but the journey to them isn't something I want to deal with. LOL!

is there a functional implemenation for android auto?

I am not sure. Would be cool though if there was a way to do it. I have a friend that has Android Auto in his new car. I will need to see how it works. The only thing that I know will work (since we did this last year) is using Geooh Go and cfinding a cache and then clicking the Navigation option which then turns on the Navigation in the car.

TAKE THAT, BRITISH! Yowzers that was a helluva volley. I don't know if is the neighborhood/terrain of your area, but your fireworks sound much better, much...deeper that the ones I am used to. Nice filming!

I thought the same thing but when I was looking up the locations for this movie I found out that it actually existed! I figured if I ever made it to the other side of the Puget Sound, I would have to visit it! Finally got the chance! Kinda funny making a movie pilgrimage to find a tree. :)

I knew you'd like this video because if your love for "The Goonies"! 😸 I wish I had watched your video again before heading out on this road trip. Yes, to get the most out of the "Goonies" experience, you have to follow the AL. There's also a movie location app called "Set Jetters" that can help take you to some of the obscure movie locations.

Anxiety wasn't my goal. :O But it is interesting hearing you say that because when they filmed that movie, they mainly filmed on cloudy days with no direct sunlight (and shadows) and the green filter to cause the sense of unease.

Our first time here! We want to do a tour of the lighthouse. We got caught up with another group in this episode (that's why we walk in on this episode when we do) but when we found out that it was a private group, we quickly left! LOL!

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect "crappy, rainy" day for it. LOL! It fit the atmosphere of the movie perfectly. I like that the color grading that I did actually worked out better than my "Permission" GIFF project. Next episode is of us going on an adventure "just like the Goonies"!

Funny thing is that when we were driving out to this location, it was a downpour! But when we got to the park, it was just cloudy! We returned there over this last weekend to try and get the caches we missed and it was the same thing. Downpour on the way to the park, but when we got there... it was just cloudy. My friend explained that it's a "Rain Shadow" location.
