In early 2022 an Alpina XB7 pulled beside me at a Shell gas station, i remember seeing the exact same unit at my local BMW dealership showroom since I visit a few times a year for parts or service. In fact i've been seeing more Rolls Royce on the road than an Alpina XB7 since. Probably there's a dozen or so sold per year in Canada.

There’s more than 2 drive settings on the XB7. Press the comfort button a second time and you have the comfort- plus setting which I never use . Press the sport button a second time and then you have sport-plus. There’s also an individual sport setting that you can customize. 5 drive settings in total.

Why is this so much more than an X7? Yeah the engine has a little more pep, but for the money why doesn’t it have a rear executive package? No cooled seats, massage, screens? It’s exactly the same as X7 in the back

Yeah, it's definitely a lot more with similar features. But all the materials are completely different. Different front fascia, a few other things are different.

The LS 600 has like this cargo space size. Stunning these huge 3 rows have next to none. The Escalade V in red you reviewed does better. Norhing to complain about?

Not exactly, not as large as an SUV. The Escalade is a longer vehicle. I had nothing to complain about with this BMW.

It does that too for us. But you can turn that off with Bimmer Code. Still has a real exhaust note you can hear with the windows down
