2024 BMW CE 04 Maxi Scooter electric motorcycle Concept Design

The BMW CE 04 is a maxi-scooter electric motorcycle manufactured by BMW Motorrad. It is the first electric scooter from BMW. It was unveiled in July 2021 and went on sale in 2022.
The CE 04 has a futuristic design with a large front end and a bulky body. It is powered by an electric motor that produces 42 horsepower (31 kW) and 62 lb-ft (84 Nm) of torque. The motor is powered by an 8.9 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 130 kilometers (81 miles) on a single charge. The CE 04 can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h (0 to 31 mph) in 2.6 seconds and has a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph).
The CE 04 is equipped with a number of features, including a 10.25-inch TFT display, BMW Motorrad Connectivity, ABS, traction control, and multiple riding modes. It is available in two colors: Alpine White and Manhattan metallic.

This will be a great bike one day when battery technology has improved. A 130kM range to not at all practical. I live 90kM from my city so I couldn't ride it there and back on one charge. I think the battery tech will change around 2026 which will likely double the range and also speed up the charge time on Type 2 AC & DC. Until then, I'll wait. An electric scoot is my one ambition I want to fulfil before I stop riding for good. Come on BMW, make it happen!
