The car was engineered from the ground up to accommodate different powertrains. The transmission tunnel improves rigidity. No driver sits astride the transmission tunnel. Families with more than two children are rare

;-) that is why I chosen iX3, for phisical buttons and 1-8 buttons that I can programm. For me its an advanage. Regarding charge speed you need to be aware that construction of battery is 5 years old. So don't expect todays charge speed from 5 years old system.

The What Car long term test found this car only had a 210 mile range, which is rubbish. My 2023 X3 MSport diesel can do over 640 miles on a single tank. How can you convince the likes of me to move to an EV with its pitiful range. This car also costs £10k more then mine, its a joke!

We bought an M Sport Pro in March this year. It's very good, and handles very well, especially for a 2 tonne car. Can get 235 miles in spring on a full charge, and it costs very little to charge at home.

Hey Chris, great review, thank you. Do you have any thoughts on this vs ix1? Charging, range, and price are broadly comparable, but they have other obvious differences.

This will be my next car in year 2030, when my 2014 bmw i3 bew get retired :D i3 is so cool, hopefully this got even little bit same, but with larger size and 4x better range. The physical buttons is an advantage for me, that's real premium i think!

Hi Chris, Good review, thanks. Regarding setting speed in a Tesla, you can also Press and hold the stalk for 2 secs, which I think is the easiest thing to do rather than adjusting the speed manually or touching the speed on the screen.

how is the cabin noise in this variant as the pro has the acoustic glazing but this variant doesnt?

I have a test drive on a Q8 E-tron next Saterday but budget-wise the choice is going to come down to a iX3 with all the available options and an E-tron with no options. This model iX3 is being replaced next year by another one (very ugly, first impression) so I can hopefully get a nice deal for the current iX3. I think I will go for the BMW.. thanks for the review.

Its interesting that the sound insulation is still good because on this M-Sport version BMW has removed the acoustic glass option which is only on the M-Sport Pro from my understanding. Can you confirm if this car had this option?

Hmmm, Nice rewiew. What is the charging time on your TMY from 10-80%?? It dosent matter what the peak speed is (150 vs 250 in the TMY) it is the total time from 10-80%……I dont think the real diff is verelis big, max 5 min

Pity is has a small info display - the bigger 15" would be better for maps, web content when charging.

5 Year warranty! Wish we had that in the UK, I will stick with Kia until they offer that here
