Some great advice but not much new. I am the type that if my doctor says to do this or that I will follow their advice. Like almost everything it only becomes a problem if you let it control your life. Use technology to your advantage: eg. Facebook lets you restrict your audience but defaults to public, I like to save lots of YT videos for just me or a small number of friends. As with all media there are too many 'gotcha' moments.

Don't have to turn the car off just hold the Camera/Park button until the car goes into parking mode then simply get out and hold the forward/back button the fob, the car will lock the doors and start rolling at the direction commanded by the fob. After you are done just press the "ignition/hold" button and the car will turn off.

Looking forward to receive my new iX1 beginning march 2025 with all the options and same interior color you showed (exterior black). Nice demo of all possibilities 👍 In Europe (the Netherlands) you need to check Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Plus (or for autonomous parking P A Professional).

Hey Chris, did you mention that the roof glass has much better heat rejection. As for price cuts, a lot depends on the Aussie Dollar, which is ummm, … only going down. 😞 Also, if you buy anything else you will NEVER get FSD. I’ve experienced it in America, and it’s absolutely mind blowing, and yes, we will get it eventually.

The benefit of the 51Kwhr Battery is that it's LFP so you can plug it in at home and charge to 100% every day with no adverse effect. With my Solar panels that gives me a free 250-300km range every day waiting for me. It's a rare day that I do 300km to be honest (maybe once every couple of months) so the base model may suit me perfectly.

Is it possible that the reason Tesla do not put screens behind the front row seats that it may cause injury to passengers Sitting in the second-row seats in the event of an RTA? So I decided to ask Grok. Answer below: Yes, it is possible that one reason Tesla does not include screens directly behind the front row seats in models like the Model Y could be related to safety concerns during a Road Traffic Accident (RTA). Here's a detailed examination of this issue: Safety Concerns: In an RTA, any interior component, including screens, could become a projectile or cause harm upon impact. Screens mounted behind front seats could potentially strike or injure passengers in the second row if dislodged during a collision. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has previously issued recalls for Tesla vehicles due to issues with the central display screen, which highlights the importance of ensuring that all in-car technology does not pose a safety risk. Regulatory Standards: Vehicles must comply with safety standards that include considerations for interior design to minimize injury risks. Screens installed behind seats might fail to meet these standards if they could become hazardous in an accident scenario. Design Philosophy: Tesla's design philosophy often emphasizes minimalism and functionality. Opting out of a rear screen could also be a design choice to maintain a clean, uncluttered interior that aligns with their aesthetic or to avoid the additional complexity of installation and potential service issues. Alternative Solutions: Tesla vehicles already feature advanced infotainment systems through the main touchscreen, where passengers can access various functions. The company might prefer promoting the use of personal devices for entertainment, like tablets, which can be secured safely or removed in the event of an accident, rather than fixed screens. User Feedback and Aftermarket Solutions: There's a demand for rear entertainment, as seen in aftermarket solutions for Tesla vehicles. This indicates that while Tesla might not provide a built-in rear screen due to potential safety and design considerations, there's still a market for such features, with users opting for third-party screens that require careful installation to mitigate risks. In conclusion, while not the only consideration, the potential for injury in an RTA is a plausible reason for Tesla's choice to exclude screens directly behind the front seats. Tesla's focus on safety, compliance with regulations, and their design ethos all likely contribute to this decision. However, without direct statements from Tesla, this remains speculative based on the known safety implications of in-car screens.

Nah, practical. I would rather see a HUD or integrated sun shade before having a powered seat fold for the second row. They're slow and annoying.
