I agree, for daily life the X5 M60i is so much softer and more comfortable even on nice roads but people want the best of the best and laugh when you mention the M lite cars

You are correct regarding the X5M comp. That is why I purchased the Mercedes GLE AMG 63s. In comfort mode it’s a remarkably relaxed daily driver but it’s insanely fast in C, Comp + or race modes. I also prefer the esthetic and technology in the 63s.

a lot of people flock to the highest trim for luxury but the m cars have always been performance first. the mi trims are the luxury comfortable performance trims that are good for most people imo

You didn't give us the full BMW experience! You used your turn signals and didn't tailgate everyone! 😂 Jokes aside, what a crazy SUV. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of BMW design language, it is a very impressive vehicle. I'm glad they're still producing crazy cars and SUV's like this and not going soft like some other manufacturers and just giving in to the "EV is the only way to the future"

I love that interior color! Its not too bright like a lot of manufacturers tend to do. Its perfect and the strip down the middle is perfect. Great color combo. The back door did seem like you squeezed to get in and out.

My dad has the x5 M 2023 or 2022 version I just know it has the new tailights can I just say you don't ever get used to how quick it actually is coz it's feels so big and you're high up and silent but you just floor it halfway and it's like boom makes me feel like a powerful businessman when I drive it😂

I understand that you are not the audiophile person out there but the B&W audio system is probably the best you can have in a car. It’s not for pumping bass tunes, it’s made for music lovers on a different level and it doesn’t need an EQ.

I’ve listened to hundreds of different sound systems, including a number of Bowers&Wilkins equipped cars. What I said was that this particular B&W is the least appealing of the lot. It’s not as impressive as one you’d find in a Volvo, or a BMW 7 series. Also, a strong bass is important. Complex music or not, it needs some subwoofer.

That stagger summer tire will suck during the winter time and will cost lot more. You will lose half of the tire mileage warranty due to stagger system. It does sounds good. 22" summer tire is too loud and jumpy

That sounds rough, the noise just rolling out from the suspension etc ... surprised. I luv my 2024 M3 but it is stiff even in comfort, would not be my recommendation for a daily.

Love these but yea, I agree 100% why can’t they figure out how to make it nice and compliant in comfort. Definitely would love to hear the unfiltered explanation from BMW as to why this decision was made. Other performance SUVs have figured it out. Why can’t BMW?

I’ve never understood performance SUVs. I feel like SUVs should be three things. Comfortable, safe, and capable. If you can afford a BMW M car you should be able to first afford a place you can own two cars and then own a comfortable car that is capable then finally own a flashy performance car.

I purchased the Mercedes GLE AMG 63s over the X5M, RSQ8 and Cayenne Turbo S for a multitude of reasons. Best daily driver, outrageous when needed and the most comfortable interior (in my opinion) of the group. Best esthetics too. Any one of these amazing SUV’s are outstanding, after driving them I thought the Mercedes was the best.

Because this is an X5 they really need to find an adaptive mode that smoothes it out in comfort. I get that they are playing race car, but its an SUV that weighs three race cars. Your review is the best I have seen, you really show everything honestly. The steering seems awesome and annoying simultaneously, the engine pull and sound is amazing but thirsty as hell, and the suspension while giving very nice balance and control is obviously not going to be fun in the U.S.A on our roads. That shifter and Seats are super cool, wish they offered that on the M60i. This is for younger drivers, but will mostly be purchased by older ones. Smooth it out with an adaptive suspension BMW.

My Google Maps has a similar sort of glitch when I use CarPlay in my Mazda3…I think it’s some software issue on the app’s end. At least it’s a (hopefully) updatable fix. Also Apple Maps and Waze users are uncultured swines
