@@Ktm300riderrnice riding man! I was just out there this past Friday for my first visit. What was the first trail you were on that looped around the PeeWee track and then onto the Family Trail? Those trails look much better groomed than the ones I rode this weekend. I rode the trails over on the right side of the office the Youth Trail number one and number two and did the loop up around the overlook. There were some hills that were pretty washed out, rocky, and rutted up through there. You couldn’t really get any speed. I definitely want to hit these that you rode the next time I go. I’m still new to the trails and learning, but would love to ride with you sometime. I’m on a 2019 Kawasaki KX 450.

Your riding a 300 in the wrong gear. Go up one an twist it.

I understand. I have been riding an racing since 1980, been on ktm since 1988. mostly on 300s. You ride a gear higher than other bikes with a 300. U have better control an you will b able to go faster because of the way it handled. I have rode brushy since it open. I had a loop i rode, from the truck to back to the truck was 34.7 miles. I could run it in 1hr 28 to 1hr 30 minutes. Get gas an go agin..then I waz done for the day. Tell tyler Roger allen said hello.

@@rogerallen1063 thanks for the tips. i have noticed the higher the gear the easier it is to ride it and the more control i have over the rear tire... this is my first 300 2stroke i been riding on and off for last 10 years. just now gwtting back into it full time now. if u ever see a 2001 black gmc sonoma in the parking lo
