Sir in Kerala all ministers have 20 or so staff and every staff complete 2.5 years of service is eligible for pension, and the staff will change every 2.5 years. Pay revision in Kerala is every 5 years, every government employee gets a salary hike in 5 years. The KSEB Electricity board gives a salary hike without consulting the government and ratified after a year or so. Many more funny/ sad rituals in Kerala. I suggest you invite TG Mohandas to describe the facts.

Nobody is interested in teaching Lorenz curve. If people like him can preach economics in easy manner, everyone can understand. Just like -- from quadratic equation, is not about just equation. Rather one should be able to judge whether its solvable or not & whether it has 1/2/3 solutions to it. One of Economics nobel laureate used RCT in poverty. Not even a single economist proved it till he did it and showed the world that even if he didnt got it correctly, still RCT methodology can be applied in field of economics.

No one talks about raising pension amount on the EPFO for Sr Citizens. The interest rate has come down on SCSS. Recently the FM raised the interest rate from 7.4% to 8.2% but most people could not take advantage of it because you have to take your money out from the existing investment of 15lakhs and for that 1% of the total amount would be deducted thus nullifying the interest rate rise. This is a very sly move by Honourable FM.

I hope Modiji is watching yr videoes like this one and when the benrfits of yr suggestion to the Nation, he is interested and he wld take it up seriously.. You can not expect our PM to know each and every suject... he can take suggestions, doesn't matter where its coming frm, instead of getting ideas and plans frm, only the people around him. ..This usually happens that people around PM keep him " closed" around him so others who are intellrgent and progressive are not give access to PM... But our PM is smarter and hardworking to " jump out" of this kind of " closed well" .. I honestly hope PM meets up with these guys fr a "one on one" discussion... Jai Hind.

Why MPs are exempt from IT? They r also citizens of India like us. They also should be taxed just like us on the income n also huge perks enjoyed by them. The concept of taxi g expenditure was first mooted mooted Charan Sing during Janata rule, by abolishing income tax. But those days in the absence of computerisation, it was not possible. Basic groceries like Rice, Wheat, Millets. Grains, Pulses, Edible oils should be totally exempt from GST.

My suggestion (india is always a welfare state.) 1. S. 80C should be doubled -- ELSS and NPS only should be made under this section and remove insurance out of this section. Shut down EPFO as its not fulfilling the need of good returns when people know the only option being market linked returns. 2. Debt mutual funds should be made LTCG of 5% if kept for minimum 5 yrs with indexation benefits on par with Equity MF. That LTCG can still be compensated with govt academic instt or temple related activities or renovation as donations under Sec. 80G. 3. Separate section on Insurance part with cap on the premium amount. 4. RBI should ask for money and not the govt for clearing the debt. RBI will be happy clearing the debts. 5. Sec. 80G to be made compulsory on all govt health Institutes..... not to pvt guys at any cost -- if people want their taxes ro go to the public instead of govt. 6. Pension should be taxed at 5% on personal Income tax instead of taxing at regular available rates. This irritates pensioners as still they r being penalised once the day they take up retired life.

The Finance ministry and Economists must find a way to abolish personal, individual income tax on income and instead taxes should be applied on purchases & spendings. This way those who are escaping the tax net by not declaring part or all of their income like doctors & lawyers, will perforce pay tax on their incomes. Corporate taxes should continue. The concept of HUF must be abolished under the income tax act. Same for donations to charitable organisations. These 2 are perfect avenues for tax evasion. Only donations to Central Government Funds like PMRF, Army Welfare Fund etc. must continue to get exemption.

The Government must facilitate self employment in the home food business - food trucks, a chain of takeaway stalls where fresh nutritious home food can be taken away by working people & students, community kitchens like ISKCON, Sudha Murthy, temples like Tirupati, Shirdi have, where people can come and have hot fresh hygienic, nutritious home food at reasonable prices. Large housing complexes with 300-500 flats could have community kitchens like the ones at luxurious senior citizens homes. The salaried classes are working for 10-14 hrs. daily. Often they are too tired to cook a proper balanced meal. Sometimes they order unhealthy food from unhygienic) restaurants.

Sir we expected a lot from Modi government, to punish the people who were known for corruption and they were not punished ,not taking strong actions. Why is when Rahul Gandhi goes abroad the central government should know where he going what he doing to whom he is meeting by 10 yrs why they did not do these things i am really suprised when they had a golden opportunity even now its not late

But the concept of employment in India is that everyone wants a government job, go to the office, sit there and drink coffee, take breaks to smoke, etc. come back chit, chat and then it will be time to go home. This concept is not sustainable.

Pensioners (senior citizens) should be taken away from payment of tax either on pension or interest on FDs. Middle class should pay only minimal tax say 1Percent upto income of Rs 10 lacs, etc. this would go a long way in freeing the mind of people and reducing stress. You please make a. Way for people who wants to pay on their own to the govt.recenue account .

Modiji should listen to people and attend to their problems than sitting in ivory towers and decide on numbers. Corruption is high that need to be attended as BJP as well as others are no exceptions in this. Efficiently attend problems should be the attitude by government servants. Reliable statistical data important. Statistical commission chairman Dr Barman suggested many things, in frustration he published his article in EPW.

The Govt. Play of extracting from Middle class and distribution to poor with a flag of Govt. Care must stop. People in lower class do not deserve Ration with minor exception to Destitudes. This must stop coz lower class is very choosy on working as labour, and when want to work, the demand lot of money. There is a loot going on on the Toll tex collection. There are road, not worth the Toll, still coleecting Toll. Motor cycles, donkey cart, tractors, motor cycles and all that you can think of slow vehicles on Toll Road. Its sad, just collect and show development

Modi govt fin team concentrates amassing money in its exchequer with heavy GST on household items and essential services putting the large section of middle class in severe hardships. Need to look into this grave situation and grant adequate relief in the forthcoming budget. This would give more freedom to throw out freebies to the greedy oppositions if they come to power next time
