We bought one month ago. Don't be afraid of it only being a 3 cylinder engine. We took it on a trip fully load, 4 adults and luggage. My expectations prior to going was not the best seeing its not even a 4 cylinder. Wow, impressed, the motor performance was shocking. The fuel mileage was still great, and with all the city traffic. She's a keeper. Plus just look at it!

I bought one 3 weeks ago and love it. Bought it for its design and price. Fuel economy on the hwy is better than it's rating. In the city, I have been averaging 8.9.

I have the Envista Avenir and am super pleased with it! For comparison sake, I traded in a 2020 Honda Accord--which I loved (I still love Honda products)--but I needed a more affordable crossover for a few years and this car fit the bill. The interior ride is quiet and has some very high-end elements to it. I love the leather upholstery, power lift gate and the sun roof, safety factors, etc. The rear cabin storage is roomy and if you put the back seats down the interior opens up to full capacity. I haven't had any issues driving or with the engine size--it's perfect for work, local/city driving and road trips. I needed a runabout vehicle that had style, a little luxury, safety features, affordability, and which has good gas mileage and the Envista Avenir was the right car for me. My purchase also came with 3 years free dealership maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations etc) and Sirus radio. I love the car and the Buick dealership experience has been excellent. Happy driving! :)

The front end is growing on me, looks sharp in that colour and in Avenir trim, though they've bumped the prices up about 10%. Appreciate seeing your space in the cabin at 6'4", I'm 6'3" and when I see a reviewer that's 5'9" get into the vehicle I think well that's not how I'm going to fit lol

GM used to have a well-figured out aspirational hierarchy of their brands, and it stuck in people's minds even to the point where certain occupations would drive certain makes, but the new marketing people want to start with a clean slate. That may work in China where GM does not have the same history, but in the US getting young buyers to buy Buick goes against the very spirit of the brand that GM reinforced for decades. It will be an uphill battle.

I actually really like my Envista. It's smooth and sleek. I'm not interested in speed, so it does the job. .

Any issues so far with your Envista or everything works properly?

No issues as of yet.

Good looking car but that teenie weenie 1.2 for me is the reason I would not buy one. Long term reliability is a huge issue. If you would buy one, buy the cheapest trim. Buying the top trim over 30 grand is not a great idea. You can get entry levels of the Mazda SUV’s under and right around the 30’s which has a NA 2.5 and AWD that can last 200,000 miles and more.

True! I wonder how this engine (and the 1.3L from the Trailblazer) are doing so far with their reliability.

With proper maintenance and proper usage, it will last longer.
