Good job Buick. I hope it’s not junk and compares to Toyota quality. The price is good for young buyers, college students, or second car. Does anyone know it’s crash tests ? I own a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe and it has a five star crash rating. Very safe vehicle. I won’t buy a car without a good crash rating. Simple too dangerous to take the chances. Folks, don’t buy it unless you check out crash tests.

You would want to go to another package such as the Avenir if you like it fully loaded with leather, or the preferred package if you like cloth seats. The Sport Touring package on gives you black wheels.

It's a slightly better, slightly more expensive Chevy Trax that is absolutely worth getting over its Chevy sister. Not just due to the significantly better exterior styling. But the thoughtful touches that come standard. Such as padded arm-rests on the doors. Yes, the Trax lacks padding there.

It's the high pressure fuel pump. My 2024 Trax activ in Black sounds the same. I have a 2008 Pontiac solstice with a 2.0 turbo motor with a high pressure fuel pump, has the same ticking sound .

these are really nice cars, but they are too slow. i test drove it last weekend. people on here saying oh its not a corvette or its not a race car, i hear your point, however this thing cant get out of its own way, its scary slow. people dont realize how outmatched this little 1.2 liter is.

I just test Drove two of them, I have had mustangs in my past and many 6 cylinder SUVs. This is not a race car... I had no problem hitting 70 ..I thought it was great for everyday driving

@badele80 thats cool but GM has always offered at least 2 power train options in most their vehicles historically, they really should offer an upgrade option for people that want a little more oomph. not everyone can afford a corvette as a daily driver, the 1.5 liter from the equinox/malibu/terrain would fit perfectly and the extra 40 horsepower would make a world of a difference. make it a 1500 dollar option or something. you shouldnt be forced to drive a slow car just cause you dont have 100 grand to blow on a porsche

In South America, it is illegal for a new car to lack a third rear headrest, while in the United States, a luxury car does not HAVE a central rear headrest, considering that a headrest is a fundamental safety feature. Sorry, we need a car with a real car motor. Buick has embarrassed itself by suggesting Americans want a car with a minimum of power. We do not. We want cars that have a reserve of power, the more the better! Listen up Buick! Remember the Grand National? Now there was a Buick you were proud to own. Yes, this car is pretty and has tons of features, but I need enough power to pass safely and take my car up mountains with my family and their luggage and still do the speed limit. Buick, we deserve better and putting the smallest motor in the world in your cars is an insult to our se sensibilities and our self respect! Shame Buick, shame!

Actually we have a Chevy Trax which is the equivalent of this car. No disrespect intended but one should drive the car before making an uneducated speculation on the actual performance of a car. I know what the Grand National was and what it meant. I sold Buicks and Pontiacs at that time. Those days are gone. Let’s get real. Again no offense or disrespect intended.
