Yes, @ryanbelleza99. If you import it yourself, the total cost would be about ₱800,000. This is assuming around 44% import duty and taxes based on the vehicle's purchase value (₱530,000). Plus another ₱40,000 for shipping the container to a port in the Philippines. If you purchase it from local dealerships in the Philippines instead of importing it yourself, expect them to add another 25-50% on top of the ₱800,000.

@@beachcan EVs being tax exempt doesn't mean that they are exempt from *all* the types of import taxes, only the MFN import duty tax. When you import a vehicle from abroad, you still need to pay other duties and taxes. Even if it's an EV. From what I understand, the "Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duty tax" is the type of tax that has been excluded during import of EVs. From executive order no. 12: "The NEDA Board endorsed the temporary reduction of the Most-Favored Nation (MFN) tariff rates on certain electric vehicles and their parts and components for a period of five (5) years."
