I am a proud owner of the 2024 Sea to Sky model. Peter you are spot on. It is a lovely motorcycle. I love everything about it. That is my daily driver. I stopped using my car 2 months ago since I purchased it. Every single day. No lie. Especially coming from the gym or even from the supermarket. The attention that I get. The questions that I get asked. What is this? Oh my God that is different. And I have to go through a whole slew of explanation LOL. Which I expected from purchasing this beast of a machine. The only issue is the Apple carplay is not yet updated on mine. I am still waiting for the update. If you have any information please let me know. You are doing a great job representing this motorcycle. Lots of people are still confused about it.

😩. My wife and I went to a canam dealer yesterday with a pile of cash to buy a new sea to sky. We were not impressed with the riding experience. We got smoked by a Tahoe off the starting line at a traffic line 🤣. The thing has no torque. Plus, that semi auto shift button shift is super annoying. But we noped out because of the Apple CarPlay. Couldn’t figure out how to get it. Now I know why. Didn’t like this bike anyway, and too expensive for what it is anyway. Thumbs down for this one.

Great walk around, and really appreciated. I just bought a 2024 RT Limited on the 9th of June, 2024, because I was able to get it in the Candy Apple Red, and the only things it didn't include that I can "see" are the rear arm-rests, and the Driver Seat backrest, both of which I think can be added to the model I got. I'm still new to this, but I like the feel of it MUCH better than a traditional trike, where this has two wheels in front versus a trike with two in the rear. Also, at 60 years of age, I appreciate that I don't have to worry about holding it up and balancing, or putting it up on a center stand when parking. I'm looking forward to a few trips on this over the next few months to get the feel for it.

We just picked up our Sea to Sky last Saturday, traded in the wife's 2019 RTL which served us well. My understanding is Android Auto will not license their system for Motorcycles. I can't ride two wheels anymore, this was the best solution for me of all the other options out there. The semi-automatic is a joy in heavy traffic. Dealing with clutch was becoming an issue. The Can-Am took the stress out and put the fun back in. The more I ride it the more I like it.

I looked at a Sea To Sky today. I’ve had a motorcycle since I was 14. I’m now 68 and truthfully, I’m not as good of a rider as I used to be. The strength is still good, the balance has deteriorated. I suspect this will be my 70th birthday present to myself.

@Kwikasfuki0077 ай бұрын
First of all, the more I watch your reviews Peter, the more I appreciate your professionalism and thoroughness with your approach. You present them in a way of "technical sales." If I was buying a new machine, this is the type of presentation I'd appreciate. Show me the specs, answer my technical questions but include the "sizzle/feels" of the vision of touring in what is almost a motorcycle (my definition). Secondly, while the screen and paint are not as sharp as they would in person (no way around that - I think), they come across better than you may think. I could see all the details on the screen and some of the metallic fleckes in the paint (perhaps the viewing device is a factor). Looking forward to the next one; so put in the good word with Extreme Torque Motorsports ( I like the name!) and tell them we watch, so keep providing machines for reviews. 🙂

Excellent review really showing all the features of a great touring machine. I own a 2022 Sea-to-Sky and I simply love it! I've traveled solo to New Brunswick and I also did that trip with my wife and we had plenty of space for all our gear. Whether on a secondary highway or the Trans-Canada highway, it is a very smooth ride, very steady and very comfortable.

@JamieFalzon-j3u7 ай бұрын
After watching your video on the RT Limited I came to the same conclusion as you and thought the Sea to Sky is much better value at that price point. One thing I’d note is that the passenger arm rests are an additional add-on and make the passenger hand warmers useless so I decided not to go with them. The other part that’s a little disappointing is that the Apple Car Play is not available just yet but is expected to be a software upgrade over wifi once available. This is a fantastic vehicle though. Not a motorcycle but more of a road ready ATV. Tons of fun. I just love it!!
@muhupalam275521 күн бұрын
Yes, the open air view is what makes it different from a car. Motorcycles have the additional ease of crossing a broken path or “going” off road. I think I saw Harley Electraglide with a swing down traffic /lowspeed upright small safety wheel. Well done Harley. I would have expected Honda to do it first but such a fantastic feature is something bike manufacturers need to take seriously. Keeping driver/rider upright in the event of an emergency is more practical than a collision suit. Manufacturers need to be “bold” despite innovation and technology should never face any inertia beyond a comments section debate … lol 😢

You have a tendency to say, "I'm going to show you that later" when you point something out, Why not just show us the thing we now have to wait later to see now? Your comparison videos have even more "see it laters" in it. If you are doing comparison review one of the bikes and as you review the other one point out the differences, your viewer's attention span can keep up I promise you. Keep up the good work, we thank you and take care.

One thing you haven't mentioned in any of your reviews concerning the Spyder RT Limited or the Spyder Sea to Sky is the fact that you can install a towing package which includes the towbar, and wiring harness, you must purchase your own trailer ball, on the Spyder that DOES NOT affect the warranty. A trailer is great if, like me, I have to carry a wheelchair wherever I go, and if you have a spouse who likes to pack everything except the kitchen sink. Can Am has a trailer you can purchase to go with your Spyder if you want, or there are a number of other trailers on the market that the Spyder will pull with ease; your fuel mileage will be affected by a trailer. The maximum allowable weight allowed in the trailer is 400 pounds.
@PeterLoweOne6 ай бұрын
You're right, I do need to do a better job of covering that. I did mention that you can tow with it in one of my reviews, but it deserves to have more detail. I'll try to include it in the next RT review that I do. Thanks for watching.

@@PeterLoweOne Nice walk around review Peter, you cover so many small details, now I want one. Guess it's time to trade in my 22 Ryker Rally? I did hear you mention that it's set up to tow a trailer and that Can Am has one that works with the Sea to Sky model. To anyone that says this ISN'T a motorcycle NHTSA has heard your complaint and soundly disagrees with you ( Please look it up their definition for yourself) and so does the DMV which is why owners of such motorcycles are issued MOTORCYCLE license plates.
