This session dives into the use of CDBG-DR funds through the broader context of interconnected economic, environmental justice, and climate concerns that often lead to displacement. It explores various factors contributing to community vulnerability to displacement before and after a disaster event and teaches holistic approaches that encompass planning, housing preservation and development, relocation assistance, and linkages to vital services that are aimed at preserving the fabric of disaster-affected communities.
