This video is a great example of why I like your channel. The fun banter brings out the best perspective on the trucks you review (and buy). As you know, I bought my Ranger largely based on your long term tester. I have five favorite vehicle reviews channels, but yours is my #1 favorite right now. You guys are positive, fun and informative. P.S. Agree with you about the Ranger community. Maybe you can start something from your long term tester. Unlike the Tacoma, Wrangler and other established communities, Ranger is fresh and free of drama (for now). You can get in on the ground floor. You know I will support your efforts through my activities.

As always, thank you so much for your honest feedback, and for all of your support. We will keep you in the loop on Ranger work coming up. Until then, have a wonderful new year and enjoy that Ranger!

My picks would have been, Honda Passport "Trailsport" and Ford Ranger with 2.7T V6. Best all around choices for price to performance.

Land Cruiser for the win, love to hear the haters cry!

The "Land Cruiser" is such a pile of crap compared to the GX. The GX should be the pick. They are not the same thing. The V6 makes a big difference, and there is no BS hybrid.

GX cost 10k more.

Love the review! What do you think about Subaru? Maybe the forester or the outback

Great video. Thank you. I am so torn. I want the room of a full-sized pickup, but like you mentioned, it sucks in an urban environment because they are so big. Tacoma can’t carry more than 2 people comfortably, and the Ranger 2.7 is within spitting distance of an F-150 for reliability. Line Toyota, especially the Japanese-built Land Cruiser, but $$$$. I need to tow 5,0000 pounds a few times per year. If you had to own an SUV or pickup for 3 years and sell it, what would you get all things considered (depreciation, quality, comfort, reliability, comfort for 4 adults, tow occasionally - 2-3 times per year but not often)? Would like your opinions!

My pick? The only reliable engine. Nissan frontier.

I'm confused as to what y'alls winners were - did you pick the Pilot or the Land Cruiser as the winner? And the Tacoma or the Ranger as the winner? I'm thinking about the the 2026 Passport, which is coming out early 2025, or the 2025 Ranger Raptor. I'm also a cheapskate and I'm hearing all this talk about how the truck market is going to crash in 2025 - I'm just waiting to see what'll happen in the Austin market in the next few months after the inauguration.

When I pick out a truck, I always take in account what’s its capabilities for my purposes, my first ram truck is a 1500 quad cab rwd hemi 3.21 gears, it fit perfectly for my daily driver and work which I deliver parts to mechanic shops and paint and body shops in the west Texas area, roughly 250 miles per day, #1800 payload and 8600# of towing and now two years later I needed a larger truck because of my jobs’ additional duties, so I went with a 2019 power wagon with only 55k miles on the odometer two months ago those miles were California mileage so probably not affected by the rust belt haha, anyway I love both of my trucks and the interior and comfort factor of the ram truck is what made my decision that much easier, just amazing job fellas although I’m still on the fence about the ram turbos but who am I kidding, I’m not sure I’ll get back into a half ton truck after sitting and driving my 3/4 6.4 hemi hahaha
