The Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Coming to you from Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.
The Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class returns to the high-speed road course for the first time in five years and will serve as the lone prototype class in the two-hour, 40-minute race on Sunday, July 14. Joining the LMP2s will be both GT classes - GT Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and GT Daytona (GTD).
Thirty-five cars are entered in the three competing classes. The Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class has the weekend off, but several of its regular drivers have secured one-off rides with LMP2 teams that will make the event even more intriguing. Here’s what you need to know to prepare for the race weekend.

I'm going to the cota wec race in a month, cant freaking wait. I remember how brutally loud the gt3 cars were at the sro gt america race I was at last year. Mercs made the entire stands shake, v10s SCREAMED. Other cars like the acura, ferrari 296, and bmw m4 I was disappointed at how silent they were. I cant wait to hear caddy hypercar in person.

The 296 is by far the worst sounding GT3 The Corvette Z06 GT3.R is also quite loud

Only thing I will say, is the commentating for this event was awful. These guys missed so much and were more confused than I was while I was watching the race at the track on the jumbo screen lol maybe get some professionals in there next time

Was at the 6 hours of São Paulo, crazy how different the Porsche sounds IRL and on the broadcast. Spunds better on the broadcast tbh, irl it sounds good but a bit quiet, sounds a bit like and airplane too

was an awsome week-end , but really missed the GTP !!!! what happened to miller racing bmw ??? it was third and second closing on the first spot than suddenly at the yellow flag they pitted before the yellow , got out than come back again then again WTF , they ended getting last in gtd pro .......... really disapointing

I love this track but I have mixed feelings about the grass in some corners. Kudos for removing the grass from the runoff on turn 2, I think they should do something about turn 3 as well. Maybe add a gravel strip off the curbing with asphalt to the tire barriers to give the drivers a chance to keep it out of the tire wall. Such a scenic place, I hate removing natural features, but there’s enough space there to do something.

One day soon, each team will have to pay four people as pit/ roadside retrieval crew with hazard pay. So these race car venues don't go into debt and bankrupt. ♟️ And Drivers Insurance is a must.
