That "stop-start" feature on the 1.2 liter can save up to THREE ENTIRE drops of gasoline over a year!

I put the miles to empty in for the odometer last week, then realized it after they were out of finance when the techs gassed it up. That's such an easy mistake to make. Great tour by the way, I use your videos for training lol.

Reminds me a lot of My kid's Nissan Kicks. Similar interior and cargo space. Except it has a N.A 4 cyl. which i prefer over a turbo. It also has all the safety features (blind spot/rear cross traffic).standard. At least that's how they sell them in Canada.

I drove a super-stripped one as a loaner several years ago. The dealer bought them real cheap to use as loaners, no cruise even. It was fun to weave all around. Wasn't nearly as optioned as this one in any way.

Those screens are set up similar to how the ones on my wife’s 2023 Kia Sportage SX Prestige hybrid it’s a lot then nicer then traditional ones and a lot better then the out going Trax and it’s still a shame GM didn’t rear AC vents in the new Trax

im really glad that GM is producing new affordable (sub 30K) vehicles unlike Ford and Chrysler... the only downside is i would have prefer that the Trax and the Upcoming Envista were built in US or Canada and not in South Korea

The Renegade, Compass, Hornet, Mustang, Bronco Sport, Escape, Maverick and Ranger are all under 30k from the big 3 plus Korea is probably better than China like the new Lincoln Nautilus or Envision

@@MrInternFTL im In Canada... All the vehicles you listed are way over 30K here. The base 2022 Compass is 33K,the Hornet GT start at 40K, the Renegade start at 37K and so on there is the exchange rate of course but the Trax start at 24K much like in the US

I drove a Trax LT yesterday. I’ve never been in a car with the backup video display. I struggled using it, lol. And don’t bother using the standard look behind you to back up, the view behind you is small and awful. Looks good in the rear view mirror, but if you turn around, forget about having a safe view. The other thing I noticed, the mirror on the front window, blocks a lot of your view. There is like a box around it, maybe housing on star stuff, it really blocks a lot of your site out the front window. Obviously still safe to drive, but noticeable to me. Staying with my 2008 Ford escape for now.

I see this is an old comment but if you’re talking about the rear view mirror, I completely agree! I test drove it and even though it looks small, it blocks so much of the windshield. It’s odd that I’ve never had this problem with other cars.

Why is the startup chime different on the new trax? For the cheaper models, do they use the old sounds? It doesn't sound like the new modern Chevy chime at all, or even the one from the 2010s.

It's a rebadged Daewoo, so maybe it uses Daewoo's chime?

I’d pay an extra $500 to have them disable the auto start top feature. Minimal fuel savings for extra wear on your engine and starter and battery..

That high pitch startup chime is very annoying. How much money did they really save not putting the new chime in this car😂😂 at this point I would’ve rather had the old chime vs this one. Small thing but you probably get used to it after a while. Other than that it’s actually a pretty nice car l, much nicer than the previous gen.

I'm very concerned about the long term reliability of the 3 cylinder engines... they are working very hard.. so will probably wear out faster. The car looks great... but also should be priced right.

Here's a question. Will the vehicle lock automatically after time or when you walk away. You didn't go through the configuration settings. That would be helpful to know since my maiibu does that and I love it.

Hop in the vehicles and start playing around with all the buttons and knobs. As far as packages just go to chevy.com build and price. It lays it out pretty well.

Looks like a really neat car & a great value... sensible and good looking. I hope the torque is enough. I know some people are already knocking the engine for being too small (3 cyl) and only about 137HP... And i think that if Chevy could have fit a 4-cyl in there, they should have. It would work less hard, & probably the fuel economy would be the same or better. But it's not a deal breaker.

Do you have any idea why all the Trax are shipping to the states with the tires set at 41psi? Every video I have watched that shows that screen, it shows 41psi. I believe they should be at 35psi. Just curious

The factory over fills so tires dont develop flat spots while shipping and while sittimg in storage lots.. we bring them down to normal level during PDI

How often does anyone adjust their seat? I think the last time I adjusted my seat was when I first got the car. It s a waste of money on a budget entry level especially when you consider they’re giving you heated seats which is much more useful.

For 26K I can get a Civic Hatchback which is made in USA. This variant of the Trax is made in Korea. The only thing I like better about the Trax is the 6 speed automatic transmission.

I will tell you this, I’ve done business with one dealer for 15 years and they haven’t sold over sticker during this entire period. There’s a reason I have purchased five cars and sold them two. And probably given them $15,000 in repair work . They are a good dealer for sure. The service department even went and picked up my wife when she broke down like 10 away because of something they messed up. Got my kids refreshments too because it was 90 degrees out. It was a service advisor that actually picked up my wife because they’ve known as for so long. Funny thing is when I walk in. They know me my name which means I bought too many things from them!
