Had problems with the screen malfunctioning took it to the dealer they did a free update at no charge😂had my 1rs for 5 months and I love it all this for 30 grand Canadian beat that!

Theres a 1Rs and a 2Rs trim that do.

I really like this vehicle but as others have stated, the long term reliability of the turbo is what is making me hesitant, otherwise, I love everything about this crossover

That was my concern too but I’ve been researching. They have been using the 3 cylinder engine in the Buick Encore For about 5 years and I have only found 2 or 3 instances of people stating that the turbo had to be replaced under warranty but no other problems. Actually GM’s 1.4 4 cylinder was the problem child engine. A friend of mine had an Encore GX 3 cylinder put 55k miles on it in 3 years being in sales. He said he had no problems at all and traded it for a 24 Trax 2RS which he absolutely loves.

​@jayson657 you're worry about the turbo system when u should be worried about the wet belt system that they decide to stupidly put it in , at 100k mileage you have a major service needing to change that out Then ontop of the turbos if anything happens to those which at the same mileage they usually start acting up

@@cormaro13 I agree I wrote this before I knew it had the wet belt which is a horrible design and why I ultimately decided not to buy a Trax.

I like the 1RS due to the analog gauges, manual climate control and key start. However the 2RS has better tire/wheel package and the upholstery is more to my liking. I guess that you can’t have everything. In the Asian market a power liftgate is offered.

I own a 19 trax AWD 2 LT. Though my wife and I like ours this new model runs rings around ours. Only thing missing with the new trax is AWD....

This trim is nice but I find it idiotic that they didn't see fit to give these trims the convenience package that the LT can have with remote start and the like.

That 1RS is well equipped, GM is going to sell a load of these little SUV's. Anxious to see how that little 1.2 liter 3cyl turbo will perform. Have a 2016 Malibu with 1.5 4cyl turbo and it's very good and rated 37mph hwy and I achieve that on long trips.

Ive had my trax for less than 7 days and the infotainment screen is already giving me problems, lags hard and cant change volume aswell as freezing, also be warned there is no radio tuner you just have to spam the touchscreen for a while.
