Good video! I didn't realize the Blackhawks had garage sale at the United Center. Did they have Blackhawks player worn jerseys for sale? If so how much?

Thanks man! Yeah the was the first Blackhawks sale I attended. Didn’t see any game worn jerseys specifically, the closest were the blank team issued jerseys (which ran for $400). I might’ve been more tempted if they had smaller sizes, but everything was 58 and above

@@jerseyhead.u I can appreciate the sticker shock. From what I understand, to have the Fanatics Professional version customized with name and number will run between $525 and $575. That's almost as much as my mortgage.

I went ahead and pick up the road MiC at the garage sale because I've been wanting a MiC Adidas in my collection for a long time. Since I have a on ice authentic for the Blackhawks from CCM from the 90s, Nike, Pro Player, KoHo CCM, RBK Egde 1.0 and 2.0s I needed to get an Adidas. I know the jersey is big on but honestly I thought when else would I get a chance to get a MiC Adidas. Next I will get a the Authentic Pro Fanatics but I would probably want to get it without the Ad on the jersey.

I thought about getting an Adidas MiC at the sale, but it made no sense as I’d have to tailor it down to a 46-50. Already have an adidas MiC with the old collar, couldn’t justify paying the sticker price just for the updated collar, haha

Great video! Wasn’t able to attend, so this really helps to see what the Blackhawks had to offer. Here’s an interesting piece of information: When you compare the Blackhawks’ Indian head crests between the non-Primegreen and PrimeGreen jerseys, they look different. I know the crest slightly changes between jersey manufacturers and templates, but I still wonder why Adidas made this switch. The PG crest is similar to what you would find with the Reebok Indo Edge and first generation Edge 2.0 jerseys that were available at the retail level. Both crests are beautiful, but I definitely prefer the ones found on NON-PG MiC jerseys. Those are just my thoughts. Thank you for sharing! Go, ‘Hawks!

I’ve heard they don’t offer jerseys every year, guess we lucked out since they’re switching to Fanatics, haha. $400 per jersey is definitely steep though, especially considering most folks don’t wear a 58 or 60 (especially goalie cut 🤣) I’ll be on the lookout for the different crests, thanks for pointing that out!

@ thanks, appreciate the support! Fanatics definitely delivered on this one; from a quality standpoint I wasn’t expecting too much of a deviation from Adidas, but there were enough tweaks to keep things fresh. I do miss the shoulder dimples, but going back to a more simplistic design is very reminiscent of the Reebok days. I haven’t splurged this much on hockey jerseys in a while 🤣🤣, will definitely be doing plenty more review videos!

Great vid. Is there an entry fee for the garage sale? By appointment or just walk in?

Thanks! So on their website they mentioned a game ticket was required for entry, but I got there after 12 PM and they didn’t require anything. From 10-12 it was only open to season ticket holders, but the wording of the details made it sound like you still needed a game ticket even after 12. For future sales you’re probably fine going without a ticket after they open it to the public, but who knows if their policies will be the same next year
