I started in the world of Christmas villages last year, for a very special reason. My son passed away on January 30, 2020, from leukemia. He loved Christmas, so I decided to make a lantern in his honor that I called Christmas in the Sky. This year I wanted to integrate more villages and I managed to do it thanks to your tutorial, the sky mountain. I feel a little frustrated because I wanted to make the cable car with movement and I haven't been able to do it. I hope you read this message and can give me some ideas to be able to do it. I am from Puerto Rico and here we can't get many of the things we need to make a beautiful Christmas village. PS: I admire you very much

Hi Miriam 👋. That is amazing. I liked how you added the lips to make the builds look like they are seamless. That's going to be beautiful with the finished look. Great to see you again sis. Stay blessed 😘👍💕💕

👀👀👀 Whoa!!! That must be the largest 🏔️ builds you've made! I really miss❤the 🏔️ displays of your early days😊
@MiriamsManner9 күн бұрын
Yes, they are large but definitely not the biggest. 😂🤣 The mountain I made 3 years ago still is the largest build I have ever made. I have tried to balance my channel with showing smaller builds that I sell on Etsy to give inspiration. I hope those helps you with ideas. 😁

I love doing my houses, I have a wall with individual shelves and they all have outlets so it makes it really easy to light them up. Yours is magical though, I can’t wait to see it all together.❤️

I bet that looks great on your wall. 😁 Thanks so much!

My dad gave me his old Lionell postwar train for my village and although I love it let me tell you it’s a real pain in the you know what trying to figure out your village around the train so I hear you when you say you had to build first ! The struggle is real lol
@MiriamsManner8 күн бұрын
🤣😂🤣. Yes it is. You have to have everything figured out when you factor a train in.

Miriam, I'm speechless!, (and that's hard for me). The way you constructed your village background as a puzzle, makes it so easy to paint each piece separately then re-assemble! Storage will be easier as well. You amaze me girl!❤😊😊😂

Will you be attending the Millie's Hallmark store on 11/02/24 for their villaging event?
@Shelviliger7 күн бұрын
It's a villager's event with a Dept 56 designer signing his buildings. Other KZbin villagers will be there too. Maybe a good chance to meet up with other hobbiest.

Hey, I am just seeing your comment. I wish I had know about it sooner, I would have attended. Maybe next time. 😁

I'm always in awe of your village displays. You inspire me so much. I made a zoo also after seeing yours, except I did a polar bear exhibit instead of the penguins. Anxious to see how this comes together. We all know it will be incredible.❤

❓Are those foams affordable? Where can you buy them? I'm still recycling old packaging foam to save💰😅
@MiriamsManner9 күн бұрын
Hey, it depends on where you are located. These boards are more expensive than the white insulation foam boards. In my area they are about $60 per board but others have told me they are $40.00 in their area. The white insulation foam boards are only $20. Hope that helps. 😁

@MiriamsManner12 күн бұрын

@MiriamsManner3 күн бұрын
You are welcome. Those foam boards are from Lowe’s. You can get them in the insulation foam board section.
