It's sad how difficult things have become in this recessive economy. I was wondering how to utilise some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to protect my $250K-worth stock portfolio from decline, but haven't figured which way to go.

Very difficult indeed, but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. You have to learn and handle finances properly. you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows. Don't go for penny stocks.

This does answer some of my doubts, because my mom has been shopping at temu for a long time. things are cheap, and seem so far so good, but I always think they are scammers because they just too cheap and there is no way to make a sustained profit here, but this business model does convince me a little bit. Maybe things are just worth that much and we just have been overcharged in the past...thx Larry

As for me, I’ve ordered over 20 times, I have had nothing but amazing experiences. My orders came on time, no broken items, customer service was amazing. An item was missing a piece and was refunded quickly! All the clothes I buy were true to size as well as the shoes…Idk but I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I’ll def continue to purchase there until I feel like I’ve had enough lol.

I think this diversified e-commerce pattern is very beneficial to ordinary consumers like us, at least we can freely choose where to shop according to our different needs and budgets. I am waiting for the arrival of my temu order, which really saves me a lot of money. I remember when online shopping started, we were skeptical of this massive shift in the way we shopped, but we're pretty used to shopping online now, aren't we?

From my observation and historical market pattern, there might be a bit of turbulence in the market coming up, but here's the deal: Trying to guess what's going to happen next is less important than spreading your bets when trading and thinking long term. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months...
