I mostly made crochet plants in 2024, cacti, an orchid, lillies, poinsettia (Christmas present). I did make 1 blanket but it took so long I was fed up of it by the end (I was just doing one stitch repeat). I've always struggled with granny squares, they always come out wonky. Perhaps I'll try again this year.

Definitely give them another go, just takes some practice 🫶🏻! Try blocking them, may make the difference.
