2024 Distinguished Alumni: Rochelle Walensky

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, AB ’91, is an infectious disease clinician who has served as director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and chief of the division of infectious diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The Distinguished Alumni Awards honors Arts & Sciences graduates who exemplify the ideals of a liberal arts education, and in so doing bring honor to Washington University through their lives, work, and service.
