Chris simms is simultaneously the most overrated and underrated draft analyst we have. A bunch of people take his word as gospel, and the same amount dismiss everything he says because he’s been wrong before (lmfao). In reality he’s one of the sharpest draft guys in the business. That doesn’t mean he’s batting 1000, but he is one of the best by far. I appreciate him not listening to draft group think and going solely off tape. Nobody ever points out Daniel Jeremiah’s draft misses but he’s probably the most respected draft guy overall.

Past 5 seasons I think Trevor Lawerence, Kyler Murray , Joe Burrow n Justin Herbert would be a top that list n it’s to early to tell on last years class they need to play more. All of those top guys atleast TL, Murray n Burrow would rank higher than my QB in this class. Murray’s 6.80 grade was higher than Caleb Williams 6.70 grade n was a better prospect people don’t realize Murray is a generational caliber QB Talent, he’s just 5”10 if he was 6”2 he’d of been talked about as the next John Elway better than Luck coming out. I mean dudes not only a Heisman winner n 3X state champion regarded as the best HS Ever in Texas state history but think of all the elite athletes Americas produced…. And Kyler Murray is THE ONLY 1 EVER drafted 1st rd in the TOP 10 in TWO different drafts. He’s special n is an elite caliber passer that just happens to be an elite athlete with 4.30 speed. Come next season with AZ having an Elite top 3-5 rush offense n what will be an elite stacked WR/TE room and AZ building an elite top 10 caliber OL in front of him protecting him giving him clean pockets n unpressured 9-10 dropbacks I will bet money Kyler Murray will be back playing at an Elite MVP Caliber level again next season back atop MVP Race in a career season with a talented loaded offense again for the first time since 2021, I think he’ll have a tremendous season.

@@Mattyice2611It is more than that they have in common. Both got overhyped during the season. Both had their flaws exposed leading up to the draft, and I suspect that like Trubisky, that Maye will be overdrafted versus where he should go. Now if Maye goes late first to a team that can sit him for a year and let him develop then their stories could diverge wildly, but I don't expect that to happen.

I Think Daniels has the frame to be bigger than RGIII, he needs to add some weight but his frame is bigger at 6_4 vs RG3 at 6_2, also RG3 lacked the ability to take criticism or give credit to others, Daniels seems more grounded coming out due to his struggles early in career.

I loved the move up for Fields! I feel if Lamar and Baltimore couldn’t work out the contract issues and Fields went there he’d be an MVP candidate in a couple years. He’d of been Lamar 2.0, not quite the elite running back Lamar is/was but Fields more accurate down the field as a prospect compared to Lamar. They were both Heisman Trophy contending level players. Anyway Fields in San Francisco, Baltimore, Maybe Raiders if they had Jacobs, Adams added a 1st round WR or Brock Bowers and a left tackle the Saints. Brock Purdy has been a revelation, and if he follows up last season with anything comparable then I would be willing to say 7th round pick, was just the NFL missing scouting on this guy. If he just disappears then maybe Fields is a guy that gets them over the top. But I was 100% on board with moving from Justin to Caleb. Even though I feel the Bears moved up to 11 to get Fields and then hung him out to dry- no help surrounding him like you’re supposed to when you have a guy on the rookie contract. Like they seem to be doing for Caleb. I truly hope that they go all out offensively like they never have before for their QB and you can appear in a Super Bowl or three win one or two the first 5 seasons then another couple visits to the Super Bowl the rest of the decade.

This was so refreshing to see as a Bears fan after the Fields trade. I was pissed tf off but it was for the better. Bears will easily have a top 5 defense, schedule finally isn’t too tough for them and the offense is STACKED… To say Caleb’s college tape looks better than Mahomes’ college tape was, (same guy who knew Mahomes could be great coming out) is so damn exciting and the Bears could literally can make history with a rookie QB. 🐻⬇️
