It’s the rider, some are so fast with scooties some ride patiently with even a 400-500cc motorcycle. For the streets I would pick the duke. Gt650 is a good bike and sounds so so sweet but for the street I would prefer something nimble and peppy and the modern day electronics with great specs make it the absolute king of the street (under 400cc leaving RE 650s obviously).

Continental GT has enough power to beat any sports bikes under 4 lakhs...But remember that you can't ride like that on a GT on any small road...The weight of the GT is a major factor, because of it you can't turn the bike on a high speed like other sports bikes and also the breaking power is compromised for the weight. So it's better to go with 390 if you are a high speed freak, because it's soooo much flickable and the breaking power is amazing..
