2024 Elections | Defend Our Democracy expresses confidence in elections

Civil society movement, Defend Our Democracy, is confident that the elections will be free and fair. The group is one of 150 independent Election Watch Observer groups accredited by the Electoral Commission. It's appealed to South Africans to show the same level of tolerance and maturity demonstrated in the past three decades, when six local, national and provincial elections took place without any hindrance.
