2024 Elections | EFF leader Julius Malema on land, the economy, opening Africa's borders

The much anticipated 2024 national and provincial elections being held on the 29th of May are gathering momentum.
Meanwhile, political parties are also moving at high speed, campaigning to get the attention of voters.
Recently, the Economic Freedom Fighters launched their detailed 255-page 2024 election manifesto at the Moses Mabhida stadium in KwaZulu-Natal.
The party was founded in 2013 and prides itself on numerous successes achieved over the years since participating in the 2016 municipal elections, including the amendment of the Constitution to realise the expropriation of land without compensation for equal redistribution, and their role in the fight against State Capture.

Since you brought up family let me just explain something quick. So all land will belong to the State and will be leased to residents on a 25 year lease. That means after 25 years subject to renewal the land then returns to the State. That means you can't build generational wealth ie if you own a factory and if your lease isn't renewed with the state you will either have to close or hand that factory with the land back to the state. You won't be able to hand your land to your kids or grandkids. That coupled with the fact that the state is able to cancel the lease at any time for redistribution based on reasons it sees fit.
