If I can do this, YOU CAN DO THIS! Today is an emotional clean with me as I reset my home after our Hawaii vacation. I'm getting raw and real with you about what I've been feeling lately two years after my divorce, and I hope it helps you know you're not alone and gives anyone struggling with depression cleaning motivation. My day to day life I am so happy. Holidays are just a major trigger for me. I miss my babies. I never ever expected holidays without them until they were older and have their own lives and partners, you know? Everything you talked about was everything I went through. All the feelings, all the lonely events, everything. It's behind me now, but it does take time. You're right. You're their mother and they will always cherish you as such. It's so unsettling not knowing what's ahead. It may or may not turn out the way you envision it, but it's in your soul's journey. You made me cry so much in this video! The vonurability in this video is so refreshing. Don't feel bad for being a solo parent, kids adapt to any situation. All they know is Mommy will find someone to love aswell. I remember I whike ago telling my kiddos how I wish they could see me with someone so they can know what it's like to be treated by someone or how to treat a significant other and they told me 'keep smiling because some day there will be someone that keeps that smile on my face and not take my joy but add to it' and as a mom I sobbed. I definitely agree with the grieving part of what Bri said. You are a great person, and it is so good and healthy to have those feelings. Hey as a single mom who is also a Christian. I definitely recommend seeking God first for right now. He will help with alot of the loneliness and he will send a guy to you when you leazt expect it. Right now god wants you in this place for a reason. You are doing awesome! You are showing them so so much! You doing an amazing jobs even on the worst days! I was single for almost two years now and i have been talking to a guy for six months. As far as Holidays that you dont have the kids i recommend doing something for yourself on that holiday. But cleaning with the kids arent home is better for the mind. Im so glad you guys can co parent well.
