I totally agree about worrying weather or not your kids rooms are spotless. My children are grown now, and when they were young, I stressed over keeping everything spotless and later realized its just not that important. The time is better spent WITH them rather than hoovering over them cleaning their rooms, something I wish I would have realized when they were young. All moms have their own way and opinions, and ALL moms are right.

I've never watched your channel before, and I want to say thank you for making me feel better about not having a perfect house like everyone expects these days. I have a real problem with keeping my house clean, largely due to my ADD and 3 kids, and I love seeing other homes that are real-life like this. I feel so much less alone, so thank you! I love your honesty and candor with the real messes 😊

Thanks for motivating us . Even some of us older people need a push now and again. As for the stuffed animals, my daughter use to have a ton! Then I found out that they can carry parasites and that too many can cause respiratory issues, so we donated most of them, only keeping a very few and I could tell she was not as stuffey as before. Just be aware. Thanks again and keep on with your channel.

Def dust, dustmites get onstuffed stuffed animals, but also curtains, rugs, furniture, all fabric in ur home, will collect dust mites, but freezing the fabric (on freezer or car I do in winter) cuz u can freeze them to die, washing them sanitizing and laundering.thrn drying, also steam vaccing them get them clean like any thing else. Gr8 u donated them, instead of tossing them in trash was responsible and nice of u

One way I found to keep the shower glass clean is to give it a coat of wax after cleaning it. I use it on my car windshield as well, works amazingly

Note: It's now important to know not to rinse your dirty dishes. Knock off the big chunks. Today's dishwashers are built to sense and clean the dishes according to the dirt. It's wasting water, time and effort to rinse. That also allows you to teach your children to load the machine. No more build up of dishes on the counter and sink.
@ashleyforbes Жыл бұрын
My dish washer def doesn’t have that cuz I get bad build up & chunks at the bottom of my dishwasher. We have to rinse first. Whirlpool sucks 😆
@elliw. Жыл бұрын
@@ashleyforbesYou probably need to run a self-cleaning cycle every couple of weeks. If your dishwasher does not have that just put a cup of vinegar on the top shelf and run it on a hot cycle. It cleans and disinfects your dishwasher. It will do a much better job afterwards and save you a ton of water and energy. And lower your utility bill.
