Technically yes hahaha but quite a lot of monochromatic fits can feature black just to add a little bit of contrast! Also many people who come from an artistic or design background (such a myself) learn that Black is actually not a colour but a shade/tone, so to me technically this fit is still monochromatic! Hope this isnt too confusing!

I do think you’re right, Puma should have a big comeback as they have some great models outside of the suedes, the Palermos, Ralph Sampson Los and GV Specials are great alternatives to current saturated models

Wow, a 17 minute video! Surprised to see you doing trend related content, I'm sure this can bring a lot of growth to this channel! 4:17 Totally agree with you on this jacket. But to be honest, I don't usually have a preference for color blocking (a recent trend in Japan). 10:23 As for the Mexico 66, my favorite colorway is the white with blue and red stripes. I feel like that one and the black one are the most classic color combination of there pair, even though I haven't done much research on it. 11:15 Really hating on those pair :D 16:30 I like a western belt that is too long. I'll tie it in a loose knot at the end and let it hang down naturally.

5:30 I'm not a fan for a few reasons. With how it is made, it wont last as long as the fibers are purposely damaged. It also has too much of a youthful look to me. As someone in my early 30s, I feel like this is one of those pieces where you would look at me and go "hes trying so hard to stand out". Which is something I have always hated with trends. Its like you have to be a peacock instead of just a well dressed person.

"Only 'YKK' zippers?" They are the best from my understranding. What are some other zipper companies you feeel are better? Also Onitisuka Tigers are not sold everywhere this can be why. For example there is no official store in New York City, only a popup that closed down. I am tried of seeing the samba and the Adidas Tekwondo IS NOT IT, looks like a futbol sneaker. YKK are decent quality but are a more cost effective choice compared to Riri or Lampo that are really the standard for luxury items! Considering the jacket is over £400 I would just expect a higher quality zipper and not a cost effective option haha

I'm curious because you mention Weekday and also Uniqlo, which are both terrible fast fashion companies. Pretty messed up to support and promote fast fashion to your followers. Maybe try and buy more vintage and second-hand. hand please stop supporting and promoting fast fashion companies !!!!

I appreciate where your heart is, and thanks for steering people towards vintage/high quality pieces - but that's just simply not true. Granted, they're not the most premium brands around, but they're a significant step towards mindful consumption and away from fast fashion for the vast majority of people. The jump in quality and sustainable practice from say Primark/Shein/H&M to the two you've mentioned is dramatic!

While opinions may vary, this is a matter of fact. A better approach is to buy second-hand items from lesser-known brands that are made in reputable factories. For instance, I wear a lot of vintage USA workwear, and brands like Woolrich offer well-made goods at affordable prices in the second-hand market. It’s far better to invest in one well-made item that can last generations than to buy and replace ten poorly made pieces that were produced under exploitative conditions.
