2024: First Canoe Trip - Camping On Crown Land - Nine Mile Lake Part 1

The first canoe trip of the season is always awesome! Camping on crown land on a lake I've never camped on before, with a good friend, made it ever more awesome! We worked around the bad weather in the forecast, enjoyed a blue sky day, lots of tasty food and we both tested out some new gear for the very first time. Add in a gorgeous sunrise, peepers peeping and warm temperatures and I couldn't be happier! Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for checking the water temps! Interesting to know if there is much variation in the temps at different depths and locations in early season. Spring brings such fantastic wildlife sightings and sounds after the quiet winter season. Thanks for another great video! Cheers BTW, I am really liking your new canoe. Gotcha on the first “camping trip”. Just realized I am almost there in calculating metric to imperial, what with following the Canadian canoeists & the bicycle world in Europe it has been a bit of a struggle. But the mind is a curious thing. Keep paddling!
