When you were talking about December and how overwhelmed you felt and you realized you needed a break I really related to it. All 2024 I was so proud of myself for going to the gym every week and making so much progress but in November I suddenly became very depressed (I think it’s seasonal) and I realized that I need to go easy on myself and let myself have a couple months to relax a little and I was proud of myself for doing that! I told myself in January I would begin again and I am now going back to the gym. I think accepting when you need a break instead of fighting it and shaming yourself when you need a break is so important. I’m happy you were able to do this :)

yess, I really need to learn this, I just always doubt my own judgement and feel like I am just "making excuses" to be lazy and so it is hard to listen to that voice that tells me I should take a break 🥲❤️

No words for how much I enjoyed and loved this video. ❤️ despite creating content that is aesthetically pleasing and often work…you have preserved your genuineness. Genuineness is a rarity in this landscape and always refreshing to see. I have some thoughts/suggestions you asked for, but will think on them and distill them first. ❤

ahh thank you Danielle! I always feel like being genuine and honest is the best way to go, it is hard to fake things especially for a long time and I don't have the energy for that 😅 I am super excited for your suggestions! ❤️

Hi - I love your work and I completely understand how you have come to have the journals be a job and need to have your own private space! And, how you do your journals is so beautiful - just have to say it. I do have a couple of questions about how you do things: #1. at 1:45 the lettering for the month (December) - how do you do that? I love the look of that and have not seen it anywhere else. Did you make this up or is there someplace you can point to for how someone else can learn it? #2: at 39:05 you use date stamps - like "Jan 22" - where did you get those stamps? I love the look of those. And again, thank you for opening up to show us your ideas and what has worked and not worked. great to see someone else working to solve the same problems I come up with in planning!!

Hello! Thank you so much for your very nice comment! ❤ The 'December' lettering is a sticker 😊I sold these in my shop but that is now unfortunately closed. But there are a lot of shops out there that sell month stickers, for example SoftPaperStudio! The 'Jan 22' is stamped with two different stamp sets: the letters are from Aliexpress and the numbers are by a German brand called Paper Poetry - I am not sure you can buy these online, I got these in Germany in a store. ❤

Love the flip and the long video❤. @17:11 Could you tell me where those dates stamps are from @29:47 weekly and monthly index tabs @33:18 checked washi tape

thank you so much, glad you enjoyed! the number stamps are by a German brand called Paper Poetry and the letter stamps I got on Aliexpress, there are a lot of typewriter-esq letter stamps on there! the index tabs I made myself. ☺the checked washi tape is also from Aliexpress, I am sure you will find some if you search for "grid washi tape"! the one I used in the video is just the black and white version. I hope this helped! if you have any more questions, please let me know! ❤

I love the look of aesthetic but I find that it doesn’t work for me. I see all these beautiful layouts but then I realize i have to do what works for me.

that is so true and I am happy for you that you can go your own way and not be influenced by all the stuff you see online! ❤️

I love your spreads, they are stunning but creating spreads only for the purpose of making content must take the joy out of it - I really understand why you need a notebook for your eyes only 😊
