Winch seems to be an after thought, probably not considered during Bronco’s design process, as it doesn’t sit flush and integrated in front bumper, plus it also blocks the front camera. Maybe Ford might address some aesthetics and issues in this model’s mid-cycle refresh. It’d be interesting to see how the Jimmy unfolds and make the midsized off-roader segment more competitive and versatile.

It seems like a lot of people act like Toyota really cares about them and their family. You say one thing about The 25 4runner or the 4 cylinder with all the wires and the cooling system. And They just flip out. I am not married to any of them. And I own 2 toyotas.

I love Toyotas. But not ALL Toyotas. I’m passing on every 6thGen 4Runner & picking up a 5thGen 4Runner. If I got a Tacoma, same thing. Screw the new generation. And if it’s not built in Japan, you can keep that Toyota. That being said, these Broncos are nice to drive, but they are not lasting. They aren’t. So hard pass.

Neat. But not my thing. How you going to get your money out of it? 57k? Plus fees like 60k. You can bet the winch is extra. But how you going to get your money out of it? Like with the Toyota I knew resale value would be okay. It it run years (hopefully). You look up the yearly cost of the ownership that sort of thing. I liked frontier too. I planned on buying one mid sized truck and just keeping it. Im not a big midsize truck fan. But something like this bronco. What's the cost of ownership? You can't really work it to make money like a work truck. Most people probably would not want to daily drive it. So basically you hope it doesn't depreciate fast and runs 20 years? It's neat. But I personally (myself?? ) don't really get the point. Like I could justify a 21k Volkswagen Jetta easier. 36 mpg run for 200k and if it depreciates least it was only 21k. A to b simple run around car. 60 k though. If it's not a work truck. It not even a great family vehicle. That's a hard pill. Suppose you could use it for family vehicle. Its a hard sell though imo

I think most plan to daily drive it. And most will never even take it off road. It's like jeep, raptor trucks, try trucks etc. People buy them because they look tough and are capable and make a statement. Like you, I'm more interested in function and treat a vehicle like a tool I need it to be used as.

@itsallminor6133 definitely not as good. But many people don't care about the practically or cost. Same reason people drive mustangs, Porsche, Mercedes, land rover, etc.

Im getting one not as a daily I have a 2014 kia as my daily and a 2020 Chevy 2500 diesel if I ever meed to tow This would be just to get out on trails on the weekemds with the fam and friends.
