I had several small pickups of years ago. I owned a 1978 Toyota Longbed Hilux model which was the bottom model. I paid $5400 for it, no air, no power windows, vinyl seats, etc. It was good to about 150,000 miles and just was falling apart. My best truck I owned was a Ford 1989 Ranger again a stripped model, and paid $7200 for it out the door. I got 267,000 miles out of it before it wore out and would not pass inspection. It was a wonderful truck with 5 speed stick on the floor. Today you cannot buy a basic truck anymore, and the Ford Ranger now has blown up to be a four door which I would not own. I want a truck for hauling with truck cab, not to be used as a family car. Again, you cannot get it with roll up windows, vinyl floor mats and seats. No, they have add a lot of high tech stuff which I do not want.

Lol at some of these comments. While I agree, getting BRaptor to just haul things from a shop, was not a good idea. If you plan to haul, you need a truck, WITH A BED, to actually you know, haul things. I sold my Harley F150 for the opposite. I don't haul things anymore, and I wanted to go off-road. So I did not buy a BRaptor, I bought a BAdlands and built it out to what can easily compete with any raptor. Also ANY Bronco or Truck or Jeep running on 35's 37's 40s....well yeah your not going to get MPG from it. If you want a MPG machine, then it will not be a very capable hauler. @nathanmcdonald6107 ай бұрын
@@Ken-qq6gp A 4 is a 4 just like a 6 a 6 or 8 an 8 regardless of it's cylinder configuration, but when you're going to comment about perceived problems of a vehicle it helps people take you seriously if you at least know the basics like for example how extraordinarily uncommon a "V4" engine configuration is comparatively to the wide spread use of the I4 configuration. Secondly, this is a performance vehicle, people who spend the money to own and drive one of these likely have very little concern about the fact that it requires premium fuel. That's like someone buying a Ferrari and then bitching because it has to have 93 octane. If your biggest concern is fuel mileage and octane requirement than the chances are the Bronco Raptor isn't very high on your list to begin with. There are plenty of more mild mannered vehicles out there both turbo and naturally aspirated that will operate just fine on regular 87 octane and get better mileage thus suiting your needs better.
