Own a 2018 Edge Sport...133K miles...Zero issues..engine is awesome and efficient...plenty of power..GO FORD!

IKR? I own a 18’ Flex Titanium, ‘20 Escape Titanium and a ‘22 Explorer ST (all of which have had zero issues, whatsoever) and was considering a ‘24 Edge ST for my 17 y/o son. He and I watched this vid review and he said, “Why do you want me to drive a woman’s car!?” Looks like he now gets my Escape and I may consider this Edge ST! This guy really needs to rethink how he markets himself and how he represents the Ford brand!!

It is priced there with Lexus and Acura BUT i test drove, the mazda cx90, Acura RDX and others and I was surprised how nice this edge is. Snappy quick...composed. It is only a Ford but holds its own against the others!

I was either gonna go with this or the blazer RS or the grand Cherokee blackout package or Nissan rouge and I went with a Nissan rouge but I am thinking about trading it in for the edge st or blazer RS

So, I have an Edge ST and my little sister has the Blazer RS, fully optioned out. The Blazer feels night and day different inside from the edge, blazer is way more modern, way more tech, the interior is phenomenal. The ST is more fun to drive, feels noticeably faster, handles better, and the FordPass app is free and way better than Chevys phone solution with onstar. If you have any questions about the two lmk!

I just don't understand why the two MID's in this vehicle are so limited in what they can display - that's a bit annoying. Also not a fan of that stupid tablet looking display - it's just NOT necessary. Otherwise it seems decent and these will last a long time if maintained properly. PS - some of us like the boring boxy look.

Did you seriously review an Edge ST without putting it in Sport mode??? It Beats an escape, bronco, and explorer ST Beats a Blazer, trailblazer, beats every comparable Mazda, beats every comparable Toyota, the only things that really beat the Edge ST for speed in its class are things like Audi, Porsche, and jaguar at much higher price points. The Edge ST is overpriced for sure, and that’s probably the worst thing about it.

The on-screen climate control is not practical. The controls for the radio and climate control do not belong on the screen because they often require changing while driving and they turn into a major distraction trying to change them while driving, and for these, on-screen is much less efficient. Climate control is also a safety feature and when, not if, there is a display issue, it translates into a drivability issue.

So you didn't put it in Sport mode on the highway and you're trying to insult it along with mom's? I am a mom and my Edge ST has blown the doors off of plenty. You should go back and put it in Sport... if you think it has pick up in regular drive 😆. Be sure to hold on.

I have a 2020 I paid 42000 cash with ten thousnd miles on it , ford eliminated the engine cover , you no longer have the touch to lock on the back doors I use that all the time , the seven speed trans is an eight speed with a gear programed out and the big screen is a joke its like the explorer st you have a huge screen but only a portion of it is used the brakes suck , this thing has way too much body roll to be an st and 57000 are you kidding definitely not worth it im not sure I would pay 42000 for a new one . 😮

I would not buy a Edge, but what 3.5 are you talking about, the 3.5 Ecoboost that I have in my F150 making 400hp and 500 torque, or the old 3.5 Duratec that hasn't been used in any Ford in a quite a few years.
